Some information on the noble laurel

Aromatic shrub or tree, native to the Mediterranean basin, with dark green leaves, yellow flowers and black berries. Also called Laurel sauce. Do not confuse the Noble Laurel with the Rose Laurel or the Cherry Laurel, both of which are poisonous. Bay leaves give off an aromatic smell when crumpled. This shrub shares a characteristic with the fir or spruce, it remains green in winter. This characteristic has made the plant a symbol of immortality; the Moon, according to the Chinese, contains a laurel and an immortal. Just as in mythology, the Laurel was dedicated to the sun. It was a symbol of peace and victory and had a prominent place alongside victorious personalities: generals, emperors (Julius Caesar, Napoleon...), poets, scientists...

The essential oil of noble laurel is very powerful. It is one of the best essential oils for promoting concentration and self-confidence. It has excellent antiseptic properties. Antibacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal, it is excellent for fighting winter viruses and bacteria. Traditionally used for mouth and teeth care, it was used to soothe the mucous membranes in case of mouth ulcers. Its fungicidal properties are also highly appreciated in cases of mycosis or fungi.

Anti-pain and anti-inflammatory, Laurel is also appreciated for relieving rheumatism and muscular pain.

From an energetic point of view, its essential oil, like the plant, transmits courage, strength and success to all those who are going through a trial (sports competition, lack of inspiration, public speaking...).
