Some information about Roman chamomile
Perennial plant with a whitish green appearance covered with small hairs and with very fragrant flowers. It is common in our regions and likes sandy lawns and the banks of waterways. The strongly aromatic essential oil is colorless and very slightly bluish. Indeed, the whole plant gives off a delicious apple scent, hence its name borrowed from the Greek "potato". Its low yield (0.1%) makes it an expensive oil. It should not be confused with other chamomile such as chamomile with its deep blue hue linked to the presence of chamazulene and species of Ormenis mixta sold as wild Moroccan chamomile.
Its unequaled biochemical composition and its high rate of esters (>90%) gives it calming, rebalancing and anti-inflammatory properties. Chamomile by numbing the nerves has the property of reducing pain in general. Healing, anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, chamomile is an excellent oil for treating all kinds of skin problems and for softening dry skin.
Its well-known calming property will help you relieve excitement, nervousness, stress, depression, sleep problems. It is one of the few safe oils, at low doses, for babies and children, it will relieve many "bobos".

An essential oil is made up of chemically defined molecules (about 10,000 listed) that have been secreted by special plant cells. It can consist of from one to several hundred molecules, which helps explain why some essential oils have many properties but different therapeutic effectiveness. To guarantee the properties necessary for effective aromatherapy, it is important that an essential oil is 100% pure and natural (not cut, not deterpenated, not mixed with alcohol or vegetable oils) and preferably organic. This is the case for the essential oils we sell. They are sold in tinted bottles with a dropper cap.
