The pebble is available in three different colours but these are identical in use. This does not affect the properties of the clay. The colours delivered are random depending on our remaining stocks.

The pebble is made of 100% French clay. It is either white or red, but both have the same soothing, softening and healing properties. Playing with the two simply adds colour to the pebbles. Clays are mineral components and not vegetable, so they cannot be certified as organic but are 100% natural.

White clay (Kaolin) has a light colour and a very fine granulosity. It is rich in kaolin (aluminium silicate). It was discovered in China and is formed in a warm and humid climate. When in contact with water, clay swells, forming a gel of pleasant consistency that absorbs impurities and excess sebum like a blotter.

Red clay : A natural source of minerals, red clay contains the natural resources to make the skin very soft and reveal its radiance. Its secret? Its richness in iron oxides which illuminate the skin and give it a deliciously velvety natural tan. The red clay rebalances the skin and enhances its luminosity. Gently cleanses and purifies the skin by absorbing toxins.

Once moistened, massage the body (before depilation it's perfect to prepare the skin!) or the face (depending on your sensitivity) with circular movements, without pressing too hard. Goodbye dead skin and hello purified and soft skin! It is important to wet the pebble before use to avoid the risk of burns. 

Let your exfoliating pebble dry before storing it in a dry place (soap dish for example). Beware of drops that could damage the pebble. If a chip is made on your pebble, you can "sand" it with a whetstone to make it look like new again :)

Released in December 2020, Lamazuna wanted to offer a zero-waste alternative to conventional scrubbing products, but also a gentler and more pleasant experience than pumice stones or other utensils. Each pebble is handmade in the Drôme. They are balls of clay paste of different colours mixed together, then pressed, dried and baked.

Since its inception, Lamazuna has been a green cosmetics brand. The story begins in 2010 with a click of the founder, Laëtitia Van de Walle, which will be a precursor and founder for the brand. At that time, Laëtitia decided to replace her classic cotton pads with washable microfibre make-up remover wipes. From 5 disposable make-up removal pads per day, she went to zero and thus began to reduce her impact on the environment. And she didn't stop there...

As the years went by, the new Lamazuna eco-friendly product ranges continued to develop. The menstrual cup, the Oriculi, toothbrushes with refillable heads, not forgetting of course all the solid zero waste cosmetics ! Lamazuna's goal since the beginning is to offer green and zero waste beauty products for an ever more committed beauty !
