Getting started
1 - To install or replace the bottle, the diffuser head must be ejected from its housing. To do this, press the button on the underside of the unit.

2 - To install a bottle, remove its cap and dropper, then screw it into the diffuser head. The diffusion head tube must dip into the bottle (this diffuser ONLY accepts standard 5ml and 10ml essential oil bottles).

3 - Then place the diffuser head and bottle back in the correct position, making sure that the alignment marks are facing each other. There is a locator to prevent the head from being inserted the wrong way round. Do not force it in order to avoid damaging the device.

4 - Press and hold the POWER button (5 seconds) to switch on the diffuser.

5 - If the "Battery" light flashes red, this indicates a low battery level. To power and recharge the diffuser's battery, connect the USB cable to the diffuser and then to a power source: USB port or electrical socket via the USB/ mains adapter (mains adapter not supplied, available here). When the diffuser is charging, the "Battery" indicator is lit. A full charge takes around 3 hours.

Works with Penn'Ty Bio bottles but also with most commercial bottles (from 5 ml to 10 ml).

On/Off button : Press and hold for 3 seconds to start the diffuser. Press the button successively to change the intensity of the mist (fine or dense mist).

Diffusion time setting button (ON) : Press the button in succession to select the diffusion time: 10 seconds, 30 seconds or 60 seconds.

Stop time setting button (OFF) : Press the button in succession to select the pause time between two broadcasts: 10 seconds, 60 seconds or 120 seconds.

Timer : Press the button in succession to set the timer: ON (broadcast without stopping), 1 hour (broadcast for 1 hour then automatic stop) or 2 hours (broadcast for 2 hours then automatic stop). 

For example, I can choose to broadcast for 60 minutes with operating cycles where the device will broadcast for 30 seconds, then pause for 10 seconds before resuming for 30 seconds, then pause again for 10 seconds, and so on, for 60 minutes.

When the diffuser is charging, the indicator light is red. It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge the diffuser battery. When the diffuser is fully charged, the indicator light goes out and the diffuser enters "sleep mode". When the battery level is low, the indicator light will flash 5 times before the unit switches off. 

The Nebuzen diffuser must be maintained using a specially formulated cleaner, which is essential for its operation.

When used as described in the manual, only the diffuser head requires regular maintenance. To do this, follow the procedure below :
- Remove the essential oil bottle.
- Use an empty bottle and fill it with white vinegar.
- Place the bottle in the diffuser and diffuse for 10 to 20 minutes to expel any remaining essential oils from the tube and diffuser head. Do not stand near the diffuser to avoid direct contact with your face.
- When the smell of vinegar begins to be felt, diffuse for a further 10 minutes before switching off the unit. Wipe the components with a soft cloth.

For further maintenance, please follow the procedure below :
- Take the diffuser head out of the diffuser and remove the essential oil bottle.
- Pull the hose away from the diffuser head to clean it. If there are any residues of essential oils on the hose, place it in a pan of water at room temperature and bring to the boil. Allow to cool before removing the hose from the pan.
- Then check the diffuser head to see if there are any traces of essential oil residue that could prevent diffusion. If necessary, clean with a cotton bud soaked in white vinegar.

Clean your diffuser once or twice a month, and every time you change essential oils or if the appliance has been inactive for a long time (i.e. more than 2 weeks).

You can also use our diffuser cleaner. It will remove all impurities from the diffuser nozzle.

Then start a short diffusion cycle by programming the diffuser for 3 minutes.

Repeat this operation a second time if the diffuser nozzle is blocked by residual essential oils.

Warning : Always use an appropriate cleaner to clean the diffuser.

In the event of a fault during the warranty period (2 years on the electrical part), you must contact us so that we can carry out a diagnosis together. You may be asked to show a video of the unit being switched on so that we can identify the fault. If a fault is confirmed, your diffuser must be returned to us complete.
