Focus on hemp vegetable Hemp is a shrub native to Central Asia that gives seeds from which the oil is extracted. This plant is highly prized for its fibers (ropes, clothing, paper, etc.). In 1941, Cannabis sativa was withdrawn from the official French pharmacopoeia because of its misuse as a narcotic product. It will be necessary to wait until 1990 for the culture of hemp without psychotropic active ingredient to be authorized again in France and the sale of its precious oil to be generalized. Hemp oil is obtained by cold pressing hemp seeds. The oil obtained is emerald green in color. It is used in cosmetics for its essential fatty acid content: omega 3 and omega 6. It also contains omega 9, vitamin E (gamma-tocopherol), amino acids and minerals.oil

Organic hemp oil is particularly effective for dry, dehydrated, devitalised, tired skin but also for mature skin. Organic hemp oil is considered non-comedogenic (index = 0). The more a vegetable oil is comedogenic, the more it tends to clog the pores of the skin and therefore promote the appearance of pimples, blackheads and comedones. No worries on that side with hemp vegetable oil! It does not present any risk for combination skin or skin with imperfections.

Let's make a clear distinction between hemp grown in France for industrial purposes and cannabis, also called recreational hemp. Industrial hemp contains no or very little (less than 0.2%) psychotropic substance: THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) compared to cannabis. The latter is very rich in resin in which this famous molecule is found, and is mainly exploited for its medicinal and psychotropic properties. Hemp oil has a composition similar to skin lipids. It is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (more than 80%). It will allow to reconstitute the hydrolipidic film of the skin. No need to put a lot, you will see for yourself that this oil moisturizes very well with low proportions. Its big advantages are that it is considered a dry oil (penetrating and non-greasy) against dry skin.

For problem skin
Again, the fatty acids in high proportion that compose it have repeatedly demonstrated its interest in relieving both itching and dryness of the skin. It would be an ally of choice against rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, acne or cold sores.

Mask for dry, frizzy or damaged hair
As a hair beauty ingredient, organic hemp vegetable oil is recognized for its nourishing and smoothing properties. It will be perfect to compensate for the lack of fatty substance at the ends of the hair. It brings shine and volume to limp or dull hair. It is also very effective in facilitating hair detangling. Finally, of course, on dry and brittle hair, it will be a real help. Apply a few drops of hemp vegetable oil directly to your hair, emphasizing the ends and lengths. Leave on for a few minutes for intense hydration.

Against razor burn

To accompany your salads
Hemp oil has a very green and vegetal taste reminiscent of raw hazelnut. It will go very pleasantly with your salads, carpaccios, tabbouleh and other raw vegetables. Hemp seed oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids, which are known to help maintain normal cholesterol levels. Vegetable oil sensitive to oxidation. Can be kept for 6 to 8 months after opening in a cool place (preferably in the refrigerator), in its original packaging, closed, protected from air and light. Keep your vegetable oils properly closed and out of reach of children. If you use your vegetable oils for cosmetic use, you can add 8 drops of vitamin E per 100 ml of oil (directly in the bottle) in order to protect your vegetable oils against oxidation and preserve their properties intact throughout the period conservation.
