The benefits of organic plant oils for radiant skin

Organic plant oils have become an essential part of natural beauty routines, and rightly so! Grown in an environmentally-friendly way, these precious oils offer a multitude of benefits for the skin, from deep hydration to protection against external aggressors. Don't hesitate to immerse yourself in this sensory experience and discover the many benefits that vegetable oils can bring to your natural skincare routine.

The power of natural ingredients

Unlike conventional beauty products, which often contain synthetic and potentially harmful ingredients, organic vegetable oils are purely natural. They are extracted from seeds, fruits or nuts, and their production method guarantees that they contain no pesticides, GMOs or chemicals. This purity makes organic vegetable oils an ideal choice for those looking for gentle, health-friendly skincare solutions.

In-depth hydration

Hydration is essential for healthy, radiant skin. Organic plant oils are rich in essential fatty acids, such as omegas 3, 6 and 9, which help to keep the skin hydrated by forming a protective barrier. By penetrating deep into the epidermis, they nourish and soften the skin, restoring its suppleness and elasticity.

A cocktail of vitamins and antioxidants

Organic vegetable oils are packed with vitamins and antioxidants that are good for the skin. Vitamin E, for example, helps combat the free radicals responsible for premature skin ageing, while vitamin A promotes cell renewal. These nutrients stimulate skin regeneration and help reduce the signs of ageing, such as fine lines and age spots.

Properties for every skin type

Whatever your skin type, there's an organic plant oil to suit your specific needs. Dry skin will appreciate sweet almond oil or avocado oil for their richness in nourishing fatty acids. Oily skin will love jojoba oil, which regulates sebum without clogging pores. Sensitive skin will benefit from the soothing properties of calendula oil or chamomile oil.

Versatile use

Organic plant oils are versatile and can be incorporated into various stages of your beauty routine. Used as a moisturiser, a natural make-up remover, a massage oil or even a hair mask, they offer a multitude of possibilities for caring for your body in a natural and environmentally-friendly way.

Organic vegetable oils are a veritable treasure trove of nature, offering a healthy and effective alternative to conventional beauty products. Their moisturising, nourishing and regenerating properties make them an ideal ally for naturally radiant skin. Don't hesitate to include these botanical gems in your beauty routine to take full advantage of their exceptional benefits.

Hemp, Cannabis sativa L.

Hemp vegetable oil is as original as it is exceptional. Its high content of omega-3 and 6 makes it an oil close in composition to that of skin lipids and is one of the vegetable oils richest in essential fatty acids. These fatty acids play a major role in the skin barrier function and will calm and soothe redness. In addition, the omega-3s it is made of will provide significant anti-inflammatory properties to soothe skin irritations.

Its moisturizing, revitalizing and regenerating properties make it an oil particularly recommended for dry, mature, irritated, tired or dehydrated skin. Firming and softening, this oil also allows your skin to maintain its elasticity while preventing it from drying out. In addition, its concentration of vitamin E, a natural antioxidant, will make it an excellent anti-aging remedy. Coupled with its skin repair property, it will effectively fight against the signs of skin aging.

Besides being an ally for your skin, hemp oil also strengthens brittle nails. On your hair, it nourishes the hair fiber and improves the elasticity and volume of the hair. It smooths, which facilitates combing and brings shine to the hair.

Its dry texture and rapid penetration make it an ideal choice for massages or cosmetics with a non-greasy touch.

Focus on hemp vegetable oil

Hemp oil and seeds

Botanical name : Adansonia digitata, from organic farming.
Focus on hemp vegetable Hemp is a shrub native to Central Asia that gives seeds from which the oil is extracted. This plant is highly prized for its fibers (ropes, clothing, paper, etc.). In 1941, Cannabis sativa was withdrawn from the official French pharmacopoeia because of its misuse as a narcotic product. It will be necessary to wait until 1990 for the culture of hemp without psychotropic active ingredient to be authorized again in France and the sale of its precious oil to be generalized. Hemp oil is obtained by cold pressing hemp seeds. The oil obtained is emerald green in color. It is used in cosmetics for its essential fatty acid content: omega 3 and omega 6. It also contains omega 9, vitamin E (gamma-tocopherol), amino acids and minerals.oil

Hemp : what types of skin ?

Organic hemp oil is particularly effective for dry, dehydrated, devitalised, tired skin but also for mature skin. Organic hemp oil is considered non-comedogenic (index = 0). The more a vegetable oil is comedogenic, the more it tends to clog the pores of the skin and therefore promote the appearance of pimples, blackheads and comedones. No worries on that side with hemp vegetable oil! It does not present any risk for combination skin or skin with imperfections.

And for the hair ?

Thanks to its moisturizing, regenerating and revitalizing properties, hemp oil is also found in the composition of hair care. It brings shine and vigor to the hair. It is recommended on hair that is difficult to comb, frizzy or tangled. Hemp oil deeply nourishes and strengthens the hair thanks to its high content of fatty acids and vitamins, especially E and B. Its use on dry, brittle, limp or dull hair will therefore be very effective. In addition, the smell of hemp oil is quite neutral and its fluid and light texture will make it a very pleasant oil to use.

Info +

Let's make a clear distinction between hemp grown in France for industrial purposes and cannabis, also called recreational hemp. Industrial hemp contains no or very little (less than 0.2%) psychotropic substance: THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) compared to cannabis. The latter is very rich in resin in which this famous molecule is found, and is mainly exploited for its medicinal and psychotropic properties. Industrial hemp is used in many fields, in construction, textiles, food, cosmetics, etc.

Examples of uses of hemp vegetable oil

For dry and dehydrated skin
Our sebum is naturally made up of fatty acids. When our skin becomes dry and dehydrated, we must help our cell membranes to replenish themselves by providing them with these precious fatty acids. that's good ! Hemp oil has a composition similar to skin lipids. It is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (more than 80%). It will allow to reconstitute the hydrolipidic film of the skin. No need to put a lot, you will see for yourself that this oil moisturizes very well with low proportions. Its big advantages are that it is considered a dry oil (penetrating and non-greasy) against dry skin.

For problem skin
Again, the fatty acids in high proportion that compose it have repeatedly demonstrated its interest in relieving both itching and dryness of the skin. It would be an ally of choice against rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, acne or cold sores.

Mask for dry, frizzy or damaged hair
As a hair beauty ingredient, organic hemp vegetable oil is recognized for its nourishing and smoothing properties. It will be perfect to compensate for the lack of fatty substance at the ends of the hair. It brings shine and volume to limp or dull hair. It is also very effective in facilitating hair detangling. Finally, of course, on dry and brittle hair, it will be a real help. Apply a few drops of hemp vegetable oil directly to your hair, emphasizing the ends and lengths. Leave on for a few minutes for intense hydration.

Against razor burn
Hemp vegetable oil has a significant soothing action on redness and irritation. It will therefore be a real help against razor burn or following a "sporty" hair removal session. In addition, its moisturizing and nourishing properties will do the skin a world of good.

To accompany your salads
Hemp oil has a very green and vegetal taste reminiscent of raw hazelnut. It will go very pleasantly with your salads, carpaccios, tabbouleh and other raw vegetables. Hemp seed oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids, which are known to help maintain normal cholesterol levels. In addition to its richness in essential fatty acids, it contains vitamin E and phytosterols, natural antioxidants. They will fight against free radicals from peroxidized lipids by neutralizing them. This antioxidant property confers a protective role vis-à-vis the cell membranes, the walls of blood vessels. There is thus an interest in fighting against a good number of cardiovascular pathologies (atherosclerosis, cholesterol, etc.). Be careful though, hemp oil is very fragile and does not like heat! Consume it only raw as a seasoning.

To prevent the appearance of wrinkles
Made up largely of fatty acids, hemp oil will help the skin to regenerate and produce collagen (this small protein that helps structure our skin and make it elastic). In addition, its rich composition of vitamin E, a natural antioxidant, will make this oil an excellent anti-aging remedy. Indeed, by fighting against free radicals, one of the major causes of tissue aging, hemp oil will strengthen its action against wrinkles and aging skin. It will be enough to massage a few drops of this oil morning and evening on your skin.
