Don't panic, La Pâte Verte soap has been designed to effectively remove even the most stubborn dirt from your hands, in complete safety, because this soap is certified organic Earth Durable. It protects the skin thanks to its organic oils and glycerine, and respects it by leaving a very soft protective film.

If the Green Paste soap has this color, it is because it is composed of a chlorophyll-based dye.

The Green Paste Soap is used after any dirty work: wet your hands, take just a small amount of soap, rub, insist on the stains and rinse. 

You want to clean everything before the cold weather. 

You find that the plastic garage door is stained, that the garden chairs that have been left outside are blackened: A little Green Paste on a wet sponge, run it all over, rinse and it's back like new.

You can rinse on the ground. Green Paste does not pollute the water (no solvent or insoluble microbeads) or the air (no VOCs, volatile organic compounds).

The door of the insert has become opaque, here too Green Paste works miracles.

In the kitchen, you can clean the glass and the inside of the oven, the work surface, the sink, the hood and the glass ceramic plates: everything is grease-free and shiny.

Some say it looks like marshmallow, or even modelling clay. This chlorophyll-coloured organic soap is a clever blend of natural products: sunflower, coconut and corn oils, all transformed into soap with potash.

The solvent-free blend incorporates calcium carbonate, sweet almond oil, vegetable glycerine and other secret ingredients !

This soap was invented and developed by Mr Bernard Bruère in his workshop in Mareil sur Loir in the Sarthe.

In the 1950s, this former farm labourer created car and motorbike maintenance products. Then his son Pascal took over. In his workshop, a former stable, he mixes the ingredients in a baker's kneading trough to obtain the dough, which he then pours into green jars. For a long time, Pâte verte was sold by distributors criss-crossing the countryside in their vans. Unfortunately, they have since disappeared. Since 2019, Arthur Bruère has represented the 3rd generation of the company. Grandson of Bernard (founder in 1962) and nephew of Pascal, the production of La Pâte verte organic soap remains within the family fold, and the traditional method of production is unchanged.

In 2023, the Savonnerie de la Chapelle took over the production of Pâte Verte.

Savonnerie de la Chapelle is a family-run company of craftsmen who have become specialists in the manufacture of natural cosmetic products and experts in the production of cold process soaps. It has taken an ancestral know-how and modernised it. The soap factory uses this know-how to design artisanal products of impeccable quality: cold process soaps, precious body or facial oils, body or lip balms, shampoos, etc.
