Tonic superfatted soap is formulated for daily body and hair cleansing. It is suitable for all skin types. It's a 2-in-1 toner thanks to the addition of ginger essential oil. Goat's milk whey and cocoa butter make it gentle. It produces a beautiful lather thanks to coconut and castor oil. What's more, its formula includes rassal clay for the many minerals it provides. Finally, whey (and especially the lactic acid it contains) helps to lower the pH slightly, making it more suitable for the scalp.

This soap is a committed soap ! Lise-Anne (the founder of the Savonnerie) is committed to making her products as artisanal as possible. The ingredients are local, organic and carefully selected. All the manufacturing stages are done by hand.

Tonic soap contains 7 key ingredients that provide all the benefits your skin and hair need for a gentle daily routine: sunflower oil, coconut oil, castor oil, cocoa butter, goat's whey, rassal clay and ginger essential oil.

Organic sunflower oil, whose composition is very similar to that of olive oil (88% oleic acid), is still rarely used in soap formulations. Coconut oil is much more common. But as an ecological choice (it is impossible to produce coconut oil in France), Totem Savon has decided to limit its use as much as possible. Sunflower oil offers magnificent benefits for your skin. Rich in Omega 6 and vitamin E, it has undeniable repairing properties. It prevents dehydration and has real softening and nourishing benefits for the skin. It is therefore perfectly suited to dry, and even very dry, skin.

Coconut oil : Rich in anti-oxidants, it contains vitamin A and vitamin E. In soap, the fatty acid composition of coconut oil means that the soap lathers well and is hard. It is organic and fair-trade.

Castor oil : The ricinoleic acid in this oil gives it anti-microbial and therefore purifying properties. It also softens the skin. In soap, combined with coconut oil, castor oil improves the lather. It is organic.

Cocoa butter : Cocoa butter contains unsaponifiables (vitamin E, carotenes, squalenes, phytosterols), which are preserved in the soap. These active ingredients have antioxidant, softening and repairing properties. This butter also gives the soap its hardness. It is certified organic and fair trade.

The organic goat's milk whey in this soap comes from the Poterie goat farm in Dingé (35). It contains minerals, enzymes and lactic acid. Lactic acid slightly lowers the pH of the soap, making it more suitable for the scalp. This whey is collected at the Chèvrerie de La Poterie in Dingé when the milk is processed into cheese.

Rassal clay : It helps regulate excess sebum and also contains numerous minerals.

Organic Ginger essential oil : Known as a hair tonic, particularly for hair growth. For well-being, this oil is a tonic, known for its anti-fatigue and aphrodisiac properties.

Organic Sunflower Oil
The fat used for saponification in this soap is 100% oleic sunflower oil. The composition of this oil is quite similar to that of olive oil, with 88% oleic fatty acid. It is highly emollient. Studies are currently underway, as this oil has not been widely used in soaps and cosmetics up to now, so we haven't finished discovering its virtues! Because it's produced in France, it's of great interest to all soap-makers who are geographically far from olive oil! It comes from the Ursule farm in Vendée, which is certified organic.

Organic cocoa butter
It is antioxidant, nourishing, protective, soothing... It is the perfect ally for dry, mature or wrinkled skin, but is also suitable for normal skin. It is absorbed by the skin, leaving it soft and silky. An antioxidant, it combats the effects of time by restoring the skin's elasticity. The phytosterols it contains soothe the skin and limit irritation. The cocoa butter in this soap is certified organic.

Organic goat's milk
If you're afraid of using goat's milk soap because you think it must have a strong, unpleasant smell, think again! Totem Savon's goat's milk soaps exude a delicate fragrance thanks to their specially formulated ingredients. By its very nature, goat's milk gives the soap an exceptionally creamy lather. What's more, in this Tonic soap, it's not goat's milk that's used, but the whey produced when the milk is turned into cheese. It contains minerals, enzymes and lactic acid. Lactic acid slightly lowers the pH of the soap, making it more suitable for the scalp. This goat's milk comes from the La Poterie organic goat farm in Dingé (35), just a few kilometres from the soap factory.

Organic Ginger essential oil
Containing linalool, zingiberol, zongiberene, phellandrene and many other active ingredients, Ginger essential oil has many uses! In particular, it stimulates hair growth, slows hair loss and helps the body to actively nourish the follicles.

Lather with water and rinse well. For external use, avoid contact with eyes. Store in a dark, dry place.

For long hair, the use of soap may be more complex as soap tangles the hair.
SHAMPOO TIP : rinse hair with 2 tablespoons of cider vinegar diluted in 1 litre of water !

With Totem soap, she wants to offer very soft, very simple soaps and for all. It expresses its ecological choices by offering 3 soaps without exotic matter (coast oil) to go to the end of its ideas.
