Feminine cup with organic cotton pouch
The Lamazuna Women's Cup replaces tampons and sanitary napkins for a period of 10 years. Free of latex, phthalates and bleaches. 100% hypoallergenic. Guaranteed medical platinum silicone. Made in France. 2 sizes available.
Washable and reusable protection
After more than 60 years of use in Scandinavian countries and Canada, the menstrual cup (also known as the feminine cup) is becoming more and more popular in France... and that's good!
This invention is a small revolution in menstrual protection. It has only advantages and the users who have adopted it will not tell you otherwise. They are unanimous on the subject.
The Lamazuna feminine cup is a washable and reusable protection. Used at the time of menstruation, it is placed in the vagina less deeply than a tampon and collects the menstrual flow without absorbing it.
10 reasons to adopt the Lamazuna feminine cup
1 - This feminine cup will replace sanitary towels and tampons for 6 hours
2 - The Cup prevents leakage (much more than a tampon)
3 - It is ultra discreet. With no string sticking out, it is completely forgotten. It's ideal for sports or even swimming because its flexibility allows it to follow the shape of the body, while four perforations on the neck create a suction cup effect that prevents leakage.
4 - No more irritation from drying tampons and their harmful ingredients. Unlike tampons, this Cup does not dry out the mucous membranes and therefore has no negative impact on the vaginal flora. It does not leave any textile fibres in the vagina and can be used regardless of the intensity of menstruation. The Lamazuna Feminine Cup is made of 100% medical platinum silicone, used in surgery and approved to remain inside the human body for 30 days. No need to worry about this!
5 - The purchase of a Cup pays for itself in a few months because you no longer have to buy disposable products during your cycle, so it's very economical.
6 - It is estimated that over 10,000 disposable pads are used in a woman's life! Imagine the environmental impact on a global scale ! This Cup is therefore also very ecological as there are no more products thrown away in the bin.
7 - 100% hypoallergenic, latex-free, phthalate-free and bleach-free.
8 - The Lamazuna Cup is practical and space-saving. It is delivered in a GOTS-certified organic cotton bag.
9 - The Lamazuna Cup is made in France, in the Vaucluse region
10 - Lamazuna is committed to animal welfare: it is the second French brand to carry the PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) label. In addition, this product is suitable for vegetarians, vegans and vegan.
Instructions for use
Before the very first use and before each cycle, sterilise your feminine cup by boiling it in a pan of water for about ten minutes
Wash your hands. Fold your cup and insert it at the entrance to the vagina. It is not necessary to insert it as deeply as a tampon. Once the cup is in place, run your finger inside to open it up and make sure it is watertight.
Empty your female cup every 6 hours or less.
To remove it, wash your hands, grasp it by the stem or contract your muscles to make it descend naturally.
To replace it, wash your hands, wash the cup with cold water (if not, use paper to wipe it)
At the end of your period, sterilise your cup and store it in its organic cotton pouch (not in an airtight box).
This protection is perfectly invisible. It is completely invisible, does not cause any discomfort and remains in place for up to 6 hours. If the stem of your women's cup bothers you, you can cut it off.

How safe is the manufacture of Lamazuna feminine cups ?
The manufacturer has obtained ISO 13485:2016 certification. This confirms that its quality management system allows it to manufacture medical devices. This standard is the most widely recognised on the world market.
2 classifications ensure the quality of the cup: medical and platinum
As far as manufacturing is concerned, platinum silicone is, as its name suggests, catalysed with platinum. Platinum is a rare and very stable metal that only melts at temperatures above 1750 degrees. The other, more common method of making silicone is with peroxide. This metal is less expensive but much less stable. Platinum silicone therefore does not have the health risks of peroxide silicone, which can release volatile organic matter.
Silicone is also called "medical grade". This quality is awarded following laboratory tests concerning the strength of the material and its elasticity. The silicone used for these Cups therefore complies with many international standards, including USP Class 6, which means that it is suitable for use inside the human body for 30 days.

Find out more about the Lamazuna brand
Since its inception, Lamazuna has been a green cosmetics brand. The story begins in 2010 with a click of the founder, Laëtitia Van de Walle, which will be a precursor and founder for the brand. At that time, Laëtitia decided to replace her classic cotton pads with washable microfibre make-up remover wipes. From 5 disposable make-up removal pads per day, she went to zero and thus began to reduce her impact on the environment. And she didn't stop there...
As the years went by, the new Lamazuna eco-friendly product ranges continued to develop. The menstrual cup, the Oriculi, toothbrushes with refillable heads, not forgetting of course all the solid zero waste cosmetics ! Lamazuna's goal since the beginning is to offer green and zero waste beauty products for an ever more committed beauty !
In order to respect their values, they have imposed constraints on the manufacture of their products. They must all be :
- With a zero waste objective
- Made as locally as possible (they are gradually moving towards 100% French production)
- Labels / certifications
- Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
