The Kaolia diffuser falls into the category of foggers (also called ultrasonic diffusers). The misting of the Kaolia diffuser is caused by the vibration of a ceramic pellet at a very high frequency which triggers ultrasounds by its movement. This is why the Kaolia diffuser is ultrasonic by misting.

1 - The appliance must be placed on a horizontal and flat surface. Remove the lid
2 - Add 90 ml of water from the centre of the tank to the sloping surface. Use tap water at room temperature (not demineralised water)
3 - Do not pour water out of the tank
4 - Do not exceed the water level indicator. Add 5 to 15 drops (maximum) of essential oils to the water
5 - Connect the adapter to the appliance socket
6 - Close the lid

The Kaolia diffuser is composed of 2 elements : a cover mixing bamboo and metal and a base. 

Successive presses will offer you several modes of operation :
1st press : diffusion of mist + light with changing colours
2nd press : diffusion of mist + light fixed on the last colour that appeared
3rd press : fog diffusion without light
4th press : the device switches off (no mist or light)

 In a few minutes, the essential oils will perfume your home and purify your atmosphere.  

After 5 or 6 uses or 3 or 5 days, please clean or descale the diffuser as follows
1 - Unplug the diffuser and remove the cover
2 - Empty the remaining water
3 - Clean the diffuser with water and white vinegar, then dry it with a soft, clean cloth
4 - Do not use acid or strong detergents as this could produce dangerous gases and damage your diffuser.

Do not activate the diffusion in the presence of children under 6 years and pregnant women. In a child's room, we recommend that you do so outside their presence and at least 30 minutes before their arrival. Before using the device, read the precautions for use carefully. The casing of the device is not attached to the diffuser, it is only placed on top. Care must therefore be taken when handling the diffuser.

If you encounter a problem with your device, we recommend that you first refer to the instructions that came with the diffuser. Different solutions are proposed to put the device back into service.

In the event of a breakdown during the guarantee period (5 years), you must contact us so that we can establish a diagnosis together. A video of the start-up may be requested so that we can establish the malfunction. 

If a failure is confirmed, your diffuser must be returned to us complete. In any case, do not try to disassemble or modify the devices, you will lose all rights to the parts and labour warranty.

The guarantee does not cover breakage, nor defects due to incorrect use or poor maintenance of the device (too high a level of water or essential oils, device not cleaned regularly, etc.).
