Its outer casing is made of wrought iron. The cylinder in the centre is made of glass. A combination of noble materials that makes it a real quality object. Once lit, everything is done to give the illusion of a candle placed in an openwork candle jar. But as soon as the diffusion takes place with a mist escaping from the top, we quickly understand that it hides something more.

A clever magnetic system holds the diffuser in the centre of the metal candle jar and provides the power supply.

The Volupsia diffuser is fully remote controllable. Equipped with a remote control, you can make all the settings of your diffuser directly from your sofa. You can switch the device off or on, vary the brightness and even change the lighting mode. As for the light, it is equipped with a white LED allowing 2 different moods (fixed, flickering candle effect). This means that you can vary the pleasure according to your mood or the mood of the moment.

Its system ensures an efficient cold diffusion of essential oils to preserve all their virtues and at the same time will humidify the air in your rooms. It has an automatic shut-off when the tank is empty.

The Volupsia diffuser's misting is caused by the vibration of a ceramic pellet at a very high frequency, which triggers ultrasounds by its movement. The vibrations will then cause the water and essential oil molecules to react, mix and rise in very fine droplets, creating a very elegant mist. This is why the Volupsia diffuser is ultrasonic by misting. This innovative technology allows the cold diffusion of essential oils. To do this, the oils must be diluted in the water in the tank. But beware, diluting the oils in water inevitably attenuates their virtues. This is why, if you wish to diffuse for therapeutic purposes only, we strongly advise you to use a nebulizer rather than a misting diffuser.

But rest assured, ultrasonic diffusion is an excellent method of atmospheric diffusion. Especially as these models also provide two other functions: ionisation and air humidification. This means that, in addition to perfuming your home, you can provide healthy and pleasant air for everyone.

We recommend that you place the device in the room for half an hour before switching it on so that it can reach room temperature.

Step 1 : Remove the wrought iron casing and the glass splash cover.

Step 2 : Make sure the tank is clean and fill it with a maximum of 110 ml of water at room temperature. The water temperature should be between 5°C and 30°C.

Step 3 : Pour 2 to 3 drops of essential oils into the water (no more).

Step 4 : Replace the lid and the upper part in wrought iron.

Step 5 : With dry hands, plug in the transformer connector, press the buttons to switch on the diffuser, either directly from the diffuser base or from the remote control supplied.

LIGHT BUTTON
- Press once to activate high brightness lighting.
- Press a second time: warm white light, flickering effect like a candle
- Press a 3rd time to turn off the light

DIFFUSION BUTTON
- Press the on/off button once to start continuous diffusion for 3 hours
- Press the on/off button a second time to start a diffusion alternating pauses and diffusion times every 15 seconds.
- Press the on/off button a third time to stop the device.

WARNING : The buttons on the base of the device are not waterproof and must not come into contact with water. Do not immerse the unit. Make sure that water does not enter the ventilation opening. Despite the safety device that interrupts the operation of the appliance, avoid leaving the appliance switched on when not in use or when the tank is empty. For a complete shutdown, unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. To empty the water tank, tilt the diffuser so that the air vent is facing upwards. If water enters this area, it may cause the unit to malfunction.

If the water contains too much lime, calcium or magnesium, it can deposit a "white powder" in the unit. If this scum is deposited on the membrane, it can prevent the unit from working properly.

The life of the membrane is limited (about 3000 hours). After some time of operation the amount of mist generated will reduce. This is normal wear and tear of the ceramic membrane.

We recommend :
1) Use demineralised water for each use.
2) Clean the tank every 2 days and the membrane once a week.
3) Change the water in the tank regularly, do not leave it for more than 2 days.
4) Clean the unit (see explanation below) and make sure that all parts are completely dry when not in use.

To clean the membrane and tank :
It is important to regularly clean the ceramic membrane and the surface of the appliance with a soft cloth or cotton swab soaked in white vinegar and leave for a few minutes.
- Do not press or scratch the membrane
- Do not use cleaning agents to clean the appliance.
- Do not use a hard tool to scrape the surface.
- Rinse the base tank with clean water.
- Make sure that water does not enter the air vent and that it is not blocked.

After cleaning and drying, store the appliance in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children.

In the event of a breakdown during the warranty period (2 years on the electrical part), you must contact us so that we can establish a diagnosis together. A video of the start-up may be requested so that we can establish the malfunction. If a failure is confirmed, your diffuser must be returned to us complete.
