The Mistilia diffuser is the latest addition to the ultrasonic category. What makes it different from the others? It is the first portable mist diffuser suitable for diffusing both floral waters and essential oils. 

If you regularly use hydrosols or essential oils in your daily life, then this little diffuser is for you.

Its operation is very simple. Just pour 10 ml of water into the tank and a few drops of the essential oils of your choice. Turn on the device and enjoy a 60 second spray of fragrant mist.

Mistilia also diffuses the floral waters in a fine moisturizing mist for your skin while facilitating the action of their active properties to relieve sunburn or the fire of shaving, remove make-up, etc.

Its big advantage is its portable and nomadic nature. Small (10 cm high), light (only 46 grs), Mistilia can be recharged in 1h30 for an autonomy of diffusion of 1 hour continuously.

The Mistilia diffuser works by misting (also called ultrasonic process). Ultrasound is a sound but its frequency is higher than 20 khz and cannot be heard by the human ear (too high-pitched). Under the excitation of a sinusoidal signal applied to the piezoelectric ceramics, they deform by contracting, thus transforming an electric wave into a mechanical vibration. This vibration will pull water molecules (and any essential oils you add to it) from the surface of the water and spray them, creating what is called a dry mist.

The size of these "droplets" will depend on the frequency of the device and the characteristics of the fluid (density, viscosity, surface tension). The higher the frequency, the finer the droplets. The high frequency of this device allows to obtain a very light mist. 

At 10 cm high, with a featherweight of less than 50 grams and equipped with a battery making it perfectly nomadic, this small diffuser can be carried everywhere with you: in your pocket, in your backpack, your handbag, your car, your holiday luggage, your camping tent, caravan, etc. The list can be long! You want to use floral waters more often but don't always have the time to do so. Mistilia generates a very fine and moisturizing mist for your skin. Choose the right floral water to relieve sunburn, shaving burns, moisturize your skin, make-up removal. This diffuser has a playful side that will seduce you.

1 - Unscrew (1/4 turn, anti-clockwise) the upper cover to remove it
2 - Pour floral water or 10 ml of water for a maximum of 3 drops of essential oils into the tank.
3 - Replace the top cover. Make sure the lid is tight. Shake well.
4 - Slide the button down to turn on the diffuser.
5 - To recharge the battery of your Mistilia diffuser, plug it into a USB socket using the cable provided. The light is red when the product is charging, and goes out when it is fully charged.

Slide the button down, the light turns blue. The device will broadcast for 60 seconds and then switch off automatically. 8 to 10 cycles of 60 seconds diffusion to empty the 10 ml tank. Slide the button upwards to stop the diffusion. Mistilia recharges in 1.5 hours for an autonomy of one hour of continuous diffusion.

Using a soaked cotton swab, gently rub the outside of the metal disc to dilute any traces and, if necessary, add 3 or 4 drops of alcohol or specific cleaner in the tank (see here). Start the diffusion. Do not use detergent.

Caution : Always use a suitable cleaner to clean the diffuser.

It is therefore recommended to use the one based on alcohol and lavender (here).

Alternatively, you can also fill a 10 ml bottle with pharmacy alcohol at 60 or 70°C, connect it and let it diffuse for 15 to 20 seconds. This will be enough to clean the diffusion process from time to time. Never use water to clean the diffuser. Indeed, water is not miscible with essential oils and could therefore clog the diffusion outlet nozzle. 

Thick oils such as vetiver, amyris, patchouli and other oils can clog the unit. If this happens, use a cotton swab with alcohol to clean the mist outlet. If you wish to diffuse them you can mix them with lighter essential oils such as orange or lemon. When using pure essential oils, do not diffuse them towards the face or towards a flame. Only use essential oils and synergies that are recommended for air diffusion. 

In the event of a breakdown during the warranty period (5 years), you must contact us so that we can establish a diagnosis together. A video of the start-up may be requested so that we can establish the malfunction. If a failure is confirmed, your diffuser must be returned to us complete.
