Frequently asked questions about Lamazuna solid deodorant
How do I store my solid deodorant between uses ?
You can simply place it on a saucer or soap dish at the edge of your sink. If you prefer to keep it away from dust, a mini jam jar or an old cream jar will do. In any case, don't worry about its conservation, it is anti-bacterial so it can't get dirty !
How much solid deodorant should I use and will I get white marks on my clothes ?
When you apply your solid deodorant to each armpit, it should be wet and leave a thin transparent layer on the skin. It should slide like a bar of soap between wet hands. This film will dry quickly and will not leave any white marks on your clothes. For maximum effectiveness, I recommend that you cover the armpits well from top to bottom and from right to left. A good thin layer will be more effective than a thick, localized layer.
How do I carry my solid deodorant to sport or on a trip ?
Mini glass jam jars, old cream jars or flannels are very practical. Or opt for the Lamazuna glass jar specifically designed to carry your solid cosmetics.
What is the difference between an antiperspirant deodorant and our solid deodorant ?
As the name suggests, an antiperspirant deodorant will prevent perspiration from escaping, whereas our deodorant will nibble away at the bacteria in the perspiration before they can give off an unpleasant odour. To be effective, antiperspirants use aluminium salts, which close the skin's pores. These aluminium salts are known to be dangerous, according to numerous old and recent studies. A study by K G McGrath concluded in 2003 that breast cancer occurred 8 years earlier in women who shaved their armpits and used an antiperspirant than in those who did not. The study can be consultable here. having underarms allows aluminium to enter the body more easily.
It was after learning this information that I stopped using antiperspirants and switched to alum stone and then to "alum stone" deodorants, but none were effective enough against odour. That's why this Lamazuna solid deodorant was born, obviously without aluminium !
Find out more about the Lamazuna brand
Since its inception, Lamazuna has been a green cosmetics brand. The story begins in 2010 with a click of the founder, Laëtitia Van de Walle, which will be a precursor and founder for the brand. At that time, Laëtitia decided to replace her classic cotton pads with washable microfibre make-up remover wipes. From 5 disposable make-up removal pads per day, she went to zero and thus began to reduce her impact on the environment. And she didn't stop there...
As the years went by, the new Lamazuna eco-friendly product ranges continued to develop. The menstrual cup, the Oriculi, toothbrushes with refillable heads, not forgetting of course all the solid zero waste cosmetics ! Lamazuna's goal since the beginning is to offer green and zero waste beauty products for an ever more committed beauty !
In order to respect their values, they have imposed constraints on the manufacture of their products. They must all be :

Sinon i tient ses promesses.
