Sage : Its botanical name indicates the beneficial effects of this shrub: salva comes from the Latin "salvere" which means "to heal". The ancient Romans already knew about the therapeutic properties of sage: it refines the skin texture, has an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiperspirant effect. The oil extracted from sage is also used in perfumes to give an aromatic and tonic touch. In this toothpaste, sage has an astringent action and prevents inflammation. 

Peppermint : This plant can be recognized by its spicy smell. The high concentration of menthol distinguishes peppermint from all other mint species, making it the most popular medicinal plant. Peppermint is refreshing to the skin, antiseptic and stimulates the circulation. For oral care, the somewhat milder spearmint is used. In this toothpaste, peppermint provides long-lasting fresh breath.

Silica : Silica, the second most common element on earth after oxygen, is of great importance in nature. It is also known as silicon dioxide. It is found as an essential constituent of certain precious stones, sand, vegetables, cereals and bamboo. In the Silicium Végétal range, silica is obtained exclusively from the husk of rice grains.
