You may not know it, but beeswax has serious benefits for maintaining and beautifying the wooden objects in your home.

It is a very effective cleaner which will also nourish and protect wood such as wooden furniture whose color has faded following too much exposure to the sun, dust, and even liquid accidents.

Liquid wax with organic beeswax nourishes, cleans, protects and beautifies your furniture, trinkets, doors, paneling, etc. Thanks to its composition of natural and organic ingredients (beeswax, carnauba wax, linseed oil), it protects the wood from humidity, dirt, dust deposits and restores its shine while letting it breathe.

This wax is suitable for use on modern and antique wooden furniture, even wood veneer. It can be used to treat natural woods such as beech, mahogany, oak, pine, teak, walnut and yew.

Liquid wax is therefore the natural, safe and effective option to give a second life to your wooden furniture.

As it contains in addition to beeswax another wax (carnauba) and linseed oil, this can slightly accentuate the natural color of the wood. For furniture made of precious wood, we recommend that you carry out a test beforehand on an invisible part.

You can imagine tinting it with pigments to use it for example as a decorative glaze on a wall (plaster, lime, etc.).

So that your furniture and wooden objects benefit from impeccable and natural protection, La Droguerie Écologique has formulated this liquid wax based on beeswax, Carnauba wax but also linseed oil.

Beeswax : Wax is secreted by special glands, called bee wax glands. Unlike royal jelly, which the bee only produces at the beginning of its life, it can produce wax throughout its existence. It allows you to restore the shine and splendor of yesteryear to your old furniture. Its film-forming properties give it the ability to make any wooden surface shine. In addition to this specificity, it also has water-repellent and anti-static properties. Thanks to this, it protects the surface of the wood against termites, mold, etc. A great ally to bring life and shine back to your wooden objects.

Carnauba wax : This wax is secreted by the leaves of a palm tree, Copernica Cerifera. This palm is generally wild, it is rarely cultivated. The harvest lasts from October until the rainy season, the leaves are cut with a manual scythe. Each leaf produces on average 5 to 10 grams of wax. It works wonders on parquet floors and wooden furniture, whether they are already waxed or still raw. Nourishing, it lusters and makes surfaces shine while reviving the natural veining. It also has a water-repellent side (waterproofing). To avoid spoiling anything, it has an antistatic effect: it therefore greatly facilitates cleaning by limiting the fixation of dust.

Linseed oil : Linseed oil comes from the extraction of flax seeds which are harvested when ripe. Then these seeds are dried and an oil production process is carried out. Linseed oil is a multi-use product that is sometimes overlooked. Ecological, 100% natural and economical, it is a real ally for your wood and different surfaces. In addition to being respectful of our health, it has nourishing and protective properties for your parquet floors, furniture and all your wooden surfaces. Linseed oil penetrates deep into the wood and allows it to resist wear. It also has an anti-fouling effect and acts as a treatment to delay or even prevent the arrival of small insects.

Use of Carnauba wax milk for the maintenance of furniture

Shake before use then pour the product onto a lint-free cloth and apply to the surface. Leave to dry for about 15 minutes before buffing with a cloth or horsehair brush. For furniture made of precious wood, we recommend that you carry out a test beforehand on an inconspicuous part.
Liquid wax with organic beeswax can be used for other applications (for example as a thin layer on leather to protect and nourish it).

Less than 5%: non-ionic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, beeswax*, carnauba wax* linseed oil*, ethanol*, denaturing dye. More than 30%: water.
