Hyaluronic acid : Hyaluronic acid, obtained by biotechnology, is one of the most effective moisturizers because it can bind much more water than any other substance (up to 1000 times its weight in water). Not only does it store hydration, but it also forms a smoothing film that stabilizes horny cells. Wrinkles are filled in and the skin becomes wonderfully supple and smooth.

Castor oil : Regenerates and strengthens. Castor oil is an oil obtained from castor beans. Castor is a plant originally native to Egypt, Ethiopia and India but whose cultivation then spread to many other countries. During ancient Egypt, Cleopatra already used castor oil as a make-up remover. Today it holds an important place in cosmetics because it strengthens eyelashes, nails and hair by stimulating the regrowth of keratin. For the skin, castor oil is known to be softening and healing. It promotes adhesion and wetting of pigments in decorative cosmetic products.

Candelilla wax : This wax is obtained from the cultivation of Candelilla (Euphorbia antisyphilitica), mainly in Mexico and Texas. This plant secretes a thin layer of wax to protect against water loss. By cutting and heating the shoots of the shrub, we obtain the candelilla wax which is then extracted. In cosmetic care, candelilla wax is particularly pleasant on the skin, non-sticky and it binds perfectly to other oils. It is mainly used in protective emulsions, revitalizing hair treatments, as well as in lip and makeup pencils.

Japanese varnish bark wax : The wax is obtained from the bark of the Japanese varnish fruit. The berries are cooked and the raw wax is then extracted and filtered. The soft consistency of this wax allows it to be used as a thickening and moisturizing component in cosmetic products, more particularly in lip balms and care sticks, but also in emulsions, as well as in hair care and make-up products. This wax notably brings shine to the lips.
