Presentation Kajal ayurvedic Colorless 101
Soultree Ayurvedic Kajals know how to distinguish themselves from other Kajals. These cone-shaped eye pencils are made according to an Indian tradition that is over 3,000 years old. They are made from natural ingredients. The fresh extracts of organic plants are made in the authentic Ayurvedic tradition, in the Soultree laboratory. They can be used both as a make-up product and as an eye care product. Moreover, these kajals are very economical as they will last you for many months without any problem.
1 - An incredibly soft and fine texture, thanks to its ghee formula (clarified beer from the sour tradition, obtained by slow cooking).
2 - A refreshing and clarifying effect, thanks to the presence of natural camphor and other Ayurvedic plants that protect the eyes from urban pollution (dust, gas, dry air).
It thus reduces the discomfort of the eye linked to dust, pollution and dry air, fights against the feeling of dry eyes that you can feel when you spend a lot of time behind a screen, in an air-conditioned place...
It is an entirely natural product, composed of vegetable oils, beeswax, ghee and natural camphor.
Why the natural camphor ?
Camphor is actually used for its cooling and whitening effect on the eye. A beneficial effect that soothes sensitive eyes after a day behind a screen or a long drive.
These kajals respect the Ayurvedic tradition and are recommended for use on the edge and inside the eyelid, even with contact lenses. Contact lens wearers particularly appreciate them for their soothing and anti-irritation effect.
Combined with vegetable oils of organic castor and sweet almond, Colorless kajal will give a luminous look but also take care of your eyes on a daily basis. Its formula offers a beneficial effect that will soothe your sensitive eyes after a day behind a screen or a long drive.
Colorless shade for which eyes ?
This incredibly silky kajal is ideal for soothing eyes sensitized by a day spent in the car or in front of a computer screen. Its formula enriched with natural camphor allows this. It can be used by both men and women.

How to apply the colourless Kajal Soultree ?
Kajal is traditionally applied to the eye contour. However, you can also put it inside to intensify the look. Its conical shape allows you a multitude of applications :
- a clean line flush with the eyelashes
- inside the eye
- blended on the eyelid as an eye shadow for a "smokey" effect.
Its main assets
The camphor : The camphor tree or camphor tree is a tree 50 meters high and 12 meters in circumference that grows in Japan and China, it can live for more than a thousand years. From this tree camphor is extracted by distillation of its wood. Camphor has the property of disinfecting the eye and preventing irritation. By its astringent effect, the capillary vessels disappear and the eye thus appears whiter. The stimulation of the lacrimal glands makes the eyes radiate and make them look brighter.
The Ghee : Ghee is a clarified butter from India obtained by long cooking. Ghee is used in the religious field and for Ayurvedic medicine. According to this medicine, ghee is the best lipid for the body, especially for the liver and the eyes. Ghee is tonic, regenerating, nutritious, it improves sight and voice. The ghee applied on the edge of the eyelid allows to evacuate the impurities of the eye.

Did you know ?
Kajal is a very old traditional Indian treatment that serves as a make-up base (it is mainly known for this use in the West), but which also serves to protect the eyes. In India, this treatment is applied to children from an early age to treat their eyes and prevent diseases.
The Pharaohs, Berbers and Arabs used the Kajal long before us for thousands of years to protect their eyes in the desert against the wind and the strong reflections of the sun. They had understood the beneficial interest brought to them by this eye care.

Frequently asked questions
Can kajals be applied to the lower mucosa of the eye ?
The application of the kajal can be done on the lower mucous membrane of the eye. However, one should avoid using any form of cosmetics inside the eye, especially if one wears contact lenses.
Is the Kajal Soultree compatible with contact lenses ?
Some beauty experts suggest that the contact lens be applied before makeup, so that it does not get in the way when applying the kajal. Likewise, the lens should be removed first before removing eye makeup. The color of the SoulTree kajal is obtained through a traditional Ayurvedic recipe that uses a 3000 year old process. Its 100% natural composition not only beautifies but also protects the eyes.
If the eye is too sensitive or if the eyes are irritated by wearing contact lenses, it is better to apply the kajal on the lower lash line rather than on the lower mucous membrane.
How can we maintain kajals in cone form ?
If applied correctly, the tapered shape of the kajal can be easily maintained. After a few applications, the kajal should be turned a little so that all sides of the kajal are used evenly. To refine the tip of a kajal that has become too wide, it must be used at an angle. You can also refine the tip gently with the help of a pencil sharpener.
How can we keep them during the summer ?
These kajals are made to suit average temperatures of 35°C. These can be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and should ideally be consumed within 24 months of the date of manufacture.
Which kajals for my complexion and the color of my eyes ?
For women with brown eyes, the ideal colors of kajals are black, brown, gray, blue, green or purple. By combining these shades with golden, green or bluish eye shadows, it will bring out the eyes.
For women with light eyes, the ideal colors of kajal are brown, gray or plum, to be combined with gray or bronze eye shadows.
What is the difference between a kohl and a kajal ?
Kohl is of Arab origin, Egyptian women used kohl to darken their eyes. Originally, kohl was composed of lead, sulfur and animal fat. Today, brands are trying to eliminate the toxic effects by removing lead from formulas, but it is sometimes replaced by lead sulphate, which is still just as toxic.
The Kajal is of Indian origin. Formulated with carbon black, its lead is softer and oilier to intensely make up the eyes, it is recognizable by its characteristic conical shape.
