This ready-to-use formula contains essential oils and vegetable pyrethrum. It is particularly effective against flying insects and mainly against flies and mosquitoes.

Unlike most insect repellents on the market, our product does not contain DEET or Pyrethroids, or any product of synthetic origin. Due to its composition, this repellent can be used everywhere without danger, under normal conditions of use, for humans, animals and the environment.

In order to make this repellent, we mainly used 2 products known for their repellent properties :

- Vegetable pyrethrum which has a repellent action on practically all insects.

- Some essential oils such as geranium, lavandin or lemongrass whose repellent properties are well known. In order to increase the persistence of these products over time, they are diluted in vegetable oil.

This product has been tested by the independent laboratory TEC.

Conclusion of the test carried out by the TEC laboratory :

Penn'Ty Bio Repellent (formerly named PRO2) showed a highly significant intrinsic repellent effect (94%) against flies and 98% against mosquitoes when applied directly to the inert surface as well as a residual repellent effect two weeks. (The full TEC report is available by clicking here). 

Spray this repellent on all fabrics such as curtains, tents, mosquito nets, net curtains or on all non-absorbent surfaces (paint, tiles, etc.) such as the floor, shutters, door frames, windows, etc. Being rapidly biodegradable , avoid sunny surfaces.

As insects will avoid all treated surfaces, the more treated surfaces you have, the more you will increase your protection volume.

Our results confirm the tests carried out by the TEC laboratory. No insects and mainly flies have landed on the treated surfaces for at least 10 days (be careful in laboratory test conditions, the persistence will obviously be shorter for an application of the product outdoors or any prolonged exposure to UV, heat and rains).

Vegetable oil, Essential oils, Active ingredient: Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium extract produced from open and mature Tanacetum cinerariifolium flowers with supercritical carbon dioxide (CAS: 89997-63-7) 0.025%. Naturally contains allergens: citronellal, citronellol (components of essential oils).

The repellent action radius of this product is limited, so, as with all commercial repellents (organic or synthetic), do not expect to prevent insects from entering through a 6 m² bay window by only treating the management !

Remove contact lenses if the victim wears them and if they can be easily removed. Continue rinsing. P501 - Dispose of contents/container to an authorized waste disposal facility.

Additional Phrases : Use biocides with caution and appropriate protection if necessary. Keep away from food and drink including those for animals.
