Nail file in natural and soft stone from the Pyrenees, handcrafted in France. Ideal for manicured and healthy nails!
The nail file is the essential accessory for nail care, whether you like to wear them short or long. With a nail file, you can recover a nail chip or gently shorten the nail. It takes a little longer than using a nail clipper, but it's still much more respectful of the nail fibre.
The Lamazuna nail file has been designed to last. It is made of natural stone from the Pyrenees (sandstone schist). It is handcrafted in the last French workshop for natural sharpening stones. Unlike a more traditional cardboard file, this is a file you can keep for life. Lamazuna always works in a zero waste approach!
his semi-hard natural stone is made of a homogeneous and very fine sandstone, ideal for nail filing. It has 2 sides for better performance :
1 - A smooth side (where the engraving is) obtained with a water polishing and an abrasive belt.
2 - A face with a cradled finish obtained by polishing in a tank with water and gravel. This side allows the nails to be filed more quickly.
Ideal for healthy manicured nails! Adopt this durable accessory made in France and never throw away your nail file again!
+ Optimal results : its semi-hard stone is a homogeneous and very fine sandstone that will take care of your nails
+ A perfect shape : its rounded shape on both ends will allow you to find the ideal position for the maintenance of each nail.
+ Easy maintenance : to keep your file for life, simply clean it with a small brush and soap or white vinegar after each use.
+ A local support : by buying this file, you support the last French factory of natural sharpening stones.
+ Zero waste : no plastic and 100% recycled and recyclable packaging
Start filing from the sides, to give the desired shape. File one side after the other, without going back and forth (which weakens the nail). Finish with the top of the nail to harmonize. To keep the file for life, simply clean it with a small brush and soap or white vinegar after each use.
The priority is to avoid damaging the nails. For a perfect filing, you must follow a golden rule: file gently in the same direction, so as to smooth the nail scales. Going back and forth in both directions could traumatize the nail and create a split.
You can keep this file for life! No need to restock regularly, which is good for the planet and for your wallet! Its cardboard packaging is 100% recyclable !

Nails are made of a protein called keratin. This protein is manufactured continuously by certain specialised skin cells. These cells store keratin as long as they produce it. When they are full to bursting, they die and harden.
This is how each dead cell becomes a small piece of nail... It is pushed outwards by new keratin-producing cells. This is why the nail grows a little bit every day. On average 2 to 3 mm per month for the nails of the hands and 1 to 1.5 mm per month for those of the feet.
It is therefore important to maintain them regularly.
Since its inception, Lamazuna has been a green cosmetics brand. The story begins in 2010 with a click of the founder, Laëtitia Van de Walle, which will be a precursor and founder for the brand. At that time, Laëtitia decided to replace her classic cotton pads with washable microfibre make-up remover wipes. From 5 disposable make-up removal pads per day, she went to zero and thus began to reduce her impact on the environment. And she didn't stop there...
As the years went by, the new Lamazuna eco-friendly product ranges continued to develop. The menstrual cup, the Oriculi, toothbrushes with refillable heads, not forgetting of course all the solid zero waste cosmetics ! Lamazuna's goal since the beginning is to offer green and zero waste beauty products for an ever more committed beauty !
In order to respect their values, they have imposed constraints on the manufacture of their products. They must all be :
- With a zero waste objective
- Made as locally as possible (they are gradually moving towards 100% French production)
