Solid products have multiplied in all their forms over the last few years. And solid dishwashing detergents are no exception. And that's just as well! A solid product concentrates the essentials (no water) and needs no packaging. It's easy to see the double advantage.

This washing-up solid cleans and degreases all your dishes, pots and pans, etc. impeccably.

It's perfect for frequent use without harming your hands. The organic sweet orange and organic exotic verbena essential oils it contains give it a pleasant, fresh scent.

It has a triple action : it degreases and cleans dishes perfectly, and its natural fragrance of essential oils perfumes your kitchen.

This washing-up liquid is formulated using only plant-based ingredients, with selected ultra-degreasing washing agents. It contains no synthetic surfactants.

Organic sunflower oil
The fat used for saponification in this soap is 100% oleic sunflower oil. Each vegetable oil has its own specific fatty acid content. It is these fatty acids which, once saponified, give the soap its properties. The fatty acids in sunflower oil are known to give soap its softness and soften it. Its composition is very similar to that of olive oil. Rich in Omega 9 and vitamin E, oleic sunflower oil is a natural antioxidant. The sunflower oil in this soap comes from the Ursule farm in Vendée, which is certified organic.

Organic coconut oil
Coconut is the symbol of tropical beaches. Behind the hard shell of the fruit lies a treasure trove of pulp and milk. Coconut milk, obtained by pressing the pulp, leaves the skin soft and supple. Coconut oil, also known as coconut fat, is also obtained from the pulp. Coconut oil is a very effective vegetable oil for making cold process soap, as it produces a beautiful, abundant lather and a very hard white soap. It works well in combination with other oils. Coconut oil gives this soap strong lathering and detergent properties.

Baking soda
This is a natural stain remover that will get rid of oil, grease and food stains... The cleaning power of this solid soap is multiplied thanks to the baking soda. Slightly abrasive, bicarbonate is an essential ally in ecological home cleaning. It cleans effectively, removes limescale and stains, deodorises and sanitises all surfaces, and easily removes grease from everyday dishes. 100% natural, with no allergens or preservatives, it's the biodegradable, economical alternative to washing-up liquid and many other cleaning products.

Keep the washing-up solid in a bowl by the sink. Work into a lather with a brush or damp sponge. Also use the soap "juice" that forms in the dish. Rinse well. For very greasy dishes, soda crystals are a good ecological complement.

To save water and energy while washing effectively, immerse your dishes in water instead of washing them with the tap, and stick to the recommended product doses. An effective wash does not require a large amount of foam.

Like its liquid counterpart, which we've known all our lives, the purpose of a solid washing-up liquid is to clean your dishes every day. The difference is that it comes in the form of a bar of soap. The advantages are numerous :

1 - Highly effective : Yes, solid washing-up liquid is just as effective as washing-up liquid, if not more so! As there is virtually no water in this solid product, the concentration of active ingredients is much higher. Compared with the liquid version, you'll find this solid dishwashing product has just as much foam and fragrance.

2 - A healthy product : Totem Savon is committed to using the most natural formulas possible. The selected cleansing agents are ultra-degreasing and its formula is based solely on plant-based ingredients. It contains no synthetic surfactants, no Lauryl ether sulphate and no synthetic colourants. It also contains no petrochemicals, which are all too often used in this type of product.

3 - More economical : Although the initial cost may seem a little higher than that of a conventional washing-up liquid, you'll quickly make savings over time because a washing-up liquid lasts much longer. In comparison, 1 100 g washing-up liquid = 2 250 ml washing-up liquids.

4 - More ecological : Using a solid dishwashing product is an ecological act. Manufacturing products in solid form reduces the impact on the environment by using recyclable cardboard packaging and reducing water consumption. When designing her formulas and models of soaps, Lise-Anne targets a specific use or care (for example, daily use, or weekly exfoliation), as well as an olfactory atmosphere. And of course, she thinks about the composition, taking into account the environmental impact of the raw materials.

With Totem Soap, she wants to offer very gentle, very simple soaps for everyone. She expresses her ecological choices by proposing 3 soaps without exotic materials (coconut oil), to go to the end of her ideas.
