Cornflower organic floral water, compressed on the eye contour, helps to decongeste and soothe this fragile area of the face, especially in case of eye fatigue or eye irritation. In skin lotion, it helps to tone dry and devitalized skins. It's perfect floral water for normal skin.

- Soothing the irritation of the eyelids due to the chlorine of the pools or wearing contact lenses.

N.B.: Remember that the cornflower hydrolat is astringent, decongesting, anti-inflammatory of the ORL sphere and, is excellent to refresh and brighten the complexion, even matt skins.

Traditional distillation by water vapour training.

The cornflower hydrolat is especially recommended to relieve irritated eyes and eyelids. Spray a compress or a cotton of cornflower floral water and then apply it directly to the eyes for a few minutes. On an irritated skin, spray the face with organic cornflower floral water, massage slightly then gently sponge with a towel.

Originally from the east, cornflower spread widely throughout the world where they grow easily across grasslands and wheat fields. Our harvest of cornflower is carried out under a three-year minimum solidarity contract with a partner cooperative composed of about 50 producers in Dauphiné-Provence. The products have been labeled Biopartenaire® since 2009, a demanding label that combines fair trade and organic farming.

Hydrolat is the water collected after distillation of a plant, it contains in small proportions the same components as the essential oil extracted from it, but also other soluble components contained in the plant that cannot be in the essential oil. The floral water, as its name suggests, is a "maceration" of flower petals in water, so the term hydrolat is more appropriate but in general it is rather the term "water" that is used.
Unlike essential oils, hydrolat, weakly concentrated in active ingredients, little to be used without special care.
There are as many hydrolats as essential oils. Those we sell on Penntybio cover most current needs; they were chosen for their qualities and properties.
