Focus on the main active ingredients of this color
Indigo (Indigofera tinctoria) : Indigo is extracted from the leaves of indigo, Indigofera tinctoria. This shrub has been used since antiquity for painting and dyeing fabrics. Nowadays people still use Indigo, especially the Tuaregs for the dyeing of their well-known cheche. Its use is renowned for the vegetable coloring of our hair. Alone, it darkens the hair giving them bluish reflections. In association with henna (red/orange) and turmeric (yellow), it is possible to obtain other color charts, offering for example auburn or mahogany reflections. The addition of indigo in this coloring makes it possible to darken the color and bring cold, ashy reflections. Hair coloring with indigo also has the property of making hair soft and shiny.
Henna (Lawsonia Inermis) : Provides reflections, protects the hair and strengthens it.
Henna is a thorny shrub native to North and East Africa, also growing in much of Asia. To thrive, it needs lots of light and warmth. In the Orient, the pleasant scent of henna has been appreciated for millennia: due to its soothing smell, henna is an extremely popular garden plant. Obtained from the leaves of the shrub, henna powder was already used in antiquity to paint the body. It has also long been known as a natural hair dye. In addition to offering attractive reflections, henna protects the hair, strengthens it and restores all its shine.
Amla (Emblica Officinalis) : Purifying and antibacterial action on the scalp. Promotes hair growth. Facilitates the taking of the color on the hair fiber. Amla is also called Indian gooseberry. It has a purifying and antibacterial action on the scalp, which allows the follicles to regenerate. Full of vitamin C, it also stimulates hair growth. Amla is a long-lived and noble tree according to the classification of plants in Indian and Ayurvedic culture. It is an emblematic ingredient of Ayurveda. It has the particularity of strengthening the scalp, preventing dryness, softening the hair, improving the beauty of the hair, limiting and treating dandruff.
And some other ingredients like...
Turmeric : It brings beautiful golden blonde highlights. Its natural yellow pigment (curcumin) mixed in precise proportions with other pigments such as Indigo (blue) or Henna (orange-red) makes it possible to obtain different shades. Thus, the use of the 3 primary colors (red/blue/yellow) makes it possible to decline a range of vegetable coloring like Emblica.
The Sidr (or Ziziphus) : Also called Jujubier, it fixes the color on the hair fiber, thus avoiding its disgorgement over the washes and improves the hold
Aloe vera : Brings real care to your hair by revitalizing, moisturizing and fortifying it.

Vegetable coloring VS chemical coloring
Did you know that chemical coloring was very bad for your hair ? In addition to burning the natural pigments by oxidation, the alkaline agents spread the scales allowing the artificial pigments to pass through. And obviously, the harmful ingredients that compose it (Para-phenylenediamine, P-phenylenediamine, Resorcinol, Methylresorcinol, ... the list can be very long) are inevitably found on your hair, scalp and in your blood.
Conversely, vegetable coloring is composed of 100% ingredients of vegetable origin (henna, indigo, cassia). Plant pigments naturally adhere to the hair fiber. They are magnetized on it and the sheath. The result obtained is identical to a vegetable coloring (see better), with the difference that you take care of your hair, your health and the planet at the same time.
