Fleas, lice, ticks and augusts are particularly fond of our pets. They can easily take refuge in their fur and regularly bite them to feed. Your pet will scratch more than it should, sometimes even injuring itself and irritating the skin. This phase of irritation and healing doesn't help, as your pet will continue to scratch until the wounds heal and the irritation subsides.

This balm has been developed to relieve your pet of irritation or redness caused by repeated scratching. Formulated with organic shea butter, organic Calendula floral water, organic beeswax, organic Tea tree essential oil and organic Propolis extract, it provides all the benefits your pet's skin needs during and after a period of itching.

These natural active ingredients deeply nourish the skin, soothe irritation and promote cell regeneration. Summer or winter, it's ideal for protecting your pet's skin from the daily elements.

N.B : Please note, it bears repeating... This balm is not intended to chase away or destroy external parasites. An anti-parasite treatment should obviously be carried out beforehand. As long as the animal is carrying fleas, ticks or augusts, the scratching will inevitably continue.

Since its creation in 2008, BIOVÉTOL has been designing and producing innovative solutions for animals, guided by an eco-responsible approach. From design to manufacturing and dispatch, everything is carried out within the company, located in Pamiers in Ariège (09).
Despite the initial absence of specific organic labels for this type of product, the Biovétol laboratory has developed solutions with active ingredients of natural origin (mineral and plant) and from organic farming, guaranteeing the preservation of ecosystems through sustainable cultivation and pest control products with biocidal active ingredients of plant origin, as an alternative to synthetic pesticides.
The appearance, at the start of 2018, of dedicated organic standards and associated labels has provided a precise framework for an approach that began 10 years ago, and has now led to the roll-out of a complete range labelled by ECOCERT.

Make sure the area to be treated is clean and dry before applying the product to your pet. Gently apply the balm to the area concerned using circular movements or spreading it evenly (skin and/or paw pads). Massage the area lightly to encourage absorption. Don't forget to close the jar or container properly after use to keep the balm fresh. If irritation or redness persists, contact your pharmacist or vet. Store in a dry place between 5 and 25°C (12 months after opening, within the date indicated on the bottle).

Organic Shea butter
The Shea tree can grow up to fifteen metres high. It grows in the savannahs of Africa. It is from its nuts, which contain up to 50% lipids, that the shea butter so highly prized around the world is extracted. Shea butter is ideal for skin care, thanks to its lipid-replenishing and smoothing properties. The vast majority of its ingredients are fatty acids, giving it nourishing and moisturising properties. It also contains vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, which provides healing and softening properties and promotes cell regeneration.

Organic calendula floral water
Calendula, also known as marigold, is a plant found throughout Europe. Used in ancient times by Arabs, Greeks and Indians for its medicinal properties, today it is appreciated in cosmetics for its healing, soothing, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and regenerating properties. Thanks to its antiseptic properties, calendula helps to combat itching and irritation. It also helps heal small wounds.

Organic beeswax 
On the skin, this product secreted by bees to produce their hexagonal combs, is a guarantee of faster healing thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties. Beeswax owes its healing powers to its composition, which includes cerotic acid and palmitic acid, as well as elements that are still unknown today. Beeswax protects the skin from UV rays and helps it to regenerate. It also absorbs and retains moisture, leaving the skin fresh and supple.

Tea tree essential oil
When it comes to skin problems, Tea tree essential oil is king! A broad-spectrum antibacterial, Tea Tree helps to get rid of skin infections in particular. It's also highly antifungal, helping to get rid of many types of mycosis. Above all, it's the perfect antiseptic for wounds.

Contains 3,4-dihydro-2,5,7,8-te-tramethyl-2-(4,8,12-trimethylthyltridecyl)-2H-benzopyran-6-ol, Melaleuca alternifolia extracts. May produce an allergic reaction.
