Who is Caliquo ? ?

In the family Caliquo i'm asking. the inventor husband !

Caliquo it is first the story of the treasures that one discovers, often by chance, a day of rain, in an attic of an old family home. and also the history of gregar, an agronomist engineer who dreams of inventor - and who is bored too much in financial audit !

When he finds old toothbrushes of the 19th century hidden in a corner of his father's attic in Normandy his brain wakes up! Her bone brushes were not made to be thrown. The idea is there: why not redo the toothbrush an object that is kept and stop throwing 18 grams of plastic every three months ?

His particular resignation, rigoroire focuses on his project: proposing durable toothbrush made in france in order to reduce the consumption of disposable plastic and encourage short circuits to minimize the carbon footprint.

Caliquo was born. for all those who want to become entrepreneurs and despair finding the right idea, we recommend you go get bored firm in an old attic! =)

Since October 2018 we have been working with families! And yes! Gregory married in August 2018 and took advantage of it to convince his wife that being rh in a consulting firm was good but that developing ecological products and zero waste was much better !

 

A waste in less, it's an extra smile !

What is the common point between a toothbrush, a cable to recharge your phone and a trash bag? Well, all these objects, very useful daily, are made from plastics !

In 2017, plastic production increased by 3.9% to 348 million tons. the European share represents 18.5% or 64.4 million tons. world production has almost doubled in less than 20 years * [1]

The problem, we all know it: the management of the 100 million tons of plastic objects found everywhere in our cities, our forests, our countryside, our seas and our oceans.

Home Caliquo we try, through our eco-responsible products, to propose an answer to these two questions:

- what to do to limit plastic consumption ?

- what to do to produce otherwise ?

Caliquo, an ecological concept of rechargeable toothbrush

The disposable toothbrush represents in france 1400 tons of waste per year of unrecyclable and non-recyclable plastics consisting of mixed plastics. a conventional tooth bump weighs about 18 grams. 18 grams of plastic go to the trash every 3 months while only the hairs of the brush are worn.

We therefore try through our ecological toothbrushes to get out of the era of plastic at all by creating everyday objects that are sustainable and/or zero waste.

Caliquo invent this rechargeable head system. the design, prototyping and then the conclusive safety tests guarantee the head a very good grip: no risk it finds inadvertently in your mouth.

The head fixing system of our green toothbrushes is secure so that it does not separate from the handle while you brush your teeth.

So, how do we remove the hair from the ecolo brush ?

Nothing simpler! our refillable toothbrush has been designed with, behind the head, a small push button that allows to easily clip or remove the hair. when your hair is worn, you just need to press firmly with your two inches on the back of your brush’s head tooth Caliquo. This will then be ejected gently and out of itself from the rest of the toothbrush! All you have to do is clip your new flexible or medium rechargeable head and it’s back !

So, keep your toothbrush handle and just throw the worn part, that is, the hair !
