What you need to know about the whitefly
Feeding exclusively from plant sap, you can find them on all kinds of plants, both in homes, greenhouses or outdoors in the summer. As the female can lay 500 eggs and the larva puts 3 weeks to develop with a temperature at 20 °C it is best to act quickly when you discover them.
How to eliminate the whitefly ?
For flat plants that support the cold, put a few days outside in winter.
Insecticide solution, treat with our insecticide 4J diluted to 1.5%. For larger treatment areas, opt for this concentrated insecticide and make your insecticide at 1.5% ready for use. (985 ml of water + 15 ml of concentrated 4J insecticide). Aerosols All Insects Ecodoo and the flying insecticide Aries are also very effective. As they are added to alcohol, the products are more volatile and stay suspended longer, thus affecting flying insects in a targeted manner.
