She doesn't want to play the role of these "bio" labels or replace them. Mention is an additional way to guide consumers to products and services that are part of a global approach to more reasonable beauty, the Cosmetic Slow approach.

 

Criteria for attributions of Slow Cosmetic

The Slow Cosmetic Mention is awarded when a mark meets a majority of criteria that arise from the Official Charter of the Cosmetic Slow, the 4 pillars of which are synthesized below.

Over the course of the year, volunteers are reviewing the files submitted by the candidate brands. These marks can be contacted by our members who have discovered them, or they can apply spontaneously to the Association's office.

Following a first check of the legal requirements by the Association's secretariat, the file of the candidate mark is analysed by an expert jury and the public examines in parallel the public information of the mark before the final note is issued by the Association. The brand will be rewarded and evaluated continuously for the nobility of its formulas, but also for its commitment to a more ecological, healthier, smarter and more reasonable cosmetic.

Each brand receives from 1 to 3 stars. A Cosmetic Slow Mention star already means a lot (meaning 60% of the charter criteria), and even if a few points can be improved, the members of the Cosmetic Slow Association recall that a brand that has received the Mention is well above the melee of the market of cosmetics available for sale.
