The benefits of organic plant oils for radiant skin

Organic plant oils have become an essential part of natural beauty routines, and rightly so! Grown in an environmentally-friendly way, these precious oils offer a multitude of benefits for the skin, from deep hydration to protection against external aggressors. Don't hesitate to immerse yourself in this sensory experience and discover the many benefits that vegetable oils can bring to your natural skincare routine.

The power of natural ingredients

Unlike conventional beauty products, which often contain synthetic and potentially harmful ingredients, organic vegetable oils are purely natural. They are extracted from seeds, fruits or nuts, and their production method guarantees that they contain no pesticides, GMOs or chemicals. This purity makes organic vegetable oils an ideal choice for those looking for gentle, health-friendly skincare solutions.

In-depth hydration

Hydration is essential for healthy, radiant skin. Organic plant oils are rich in essential fatty acids, such as omegas 3, 6 and 9, which help to keep the skin hydrated by forming a protective barrier. By penetrating deep into the epidermis, they nourish and soften the skin, restoring its suppleness and elasticity.

A cocktail of vitamins and antioxidants

Organic vegetable oils are packed with vitamins and antioxidants that are good for the skin. Vitamin E, for example, helps combat the free radicals responsible for premature skin ageing, while vitamin A promotes cell renewal. These nutrients stimulate skin regeneration and help reduce the signs of ageing, such as fine lines and age spots.

Properties for every skin type

Whatever your skin type, there's an organic plant oil to suit your specific needs. Dry skin will appreciate sweet almond oil or avocado oil for their richness in nourishing fatty acids. Oily skin will love jojoba oil, which regulates sebum without clogging pores. Sensitive skin will benefit from the soothing properties of calendula oil or chamomile oil.

Versatile use

Organic plant oils are versatile and can be incorporated into various stages of your beauty routine. Used as a moisturiser, a natural make-up remover, a massage oil or even a hair mask, they offer a multitude of possibilities for caring for your body in a natural and environmentally-friendly way.

Organic vegetable oils are a veritable treasure trove of nature, offering a healthy and effective alternative to conventional beauty products. Their moisturising, nourishing and regenerating properties make them an ideal ally for naturally radiant skin. Don't hesitate to include these botanical gems in your beauty routine to take full advantage of their exceptional benefits.

Musk rose flowers

Direct Nature's organic rose hip vegetable oil regenerates and softens mature, tired and sensitive skin thanks to its natural richness in omega 3, 6, carotenoids, vitamin E and A (retinol).

It is traditionally used for its regenerating, restructuring and anti-oxidant qualities on all parts of the body. It is a vegetable oil extremely rich in essential polyunsaturated fatty acids considered to be excellent skin regenerators. It is therefore well known as an anti-ageing oil. As a result, it is suitable for mature skin, skin with wrinkles, age spots or stretch marks. But it is also suitable for all skin types (dry, damaged or sensitive).

Packed with antioxidants, it ensures that existing wrinkles are reduced and the appearance of future wrinkles is prevented: for a natural lifting effect. It will therefore be very effective in beauty routines aimed at caring for the face, particularly as an anti-wrinkle treatment.

This oil does not contain any colouring agents, preservatives or synthetic fragrances. Organic Rose Hip Oil has the advantage of being very well absorbed by the skin and of being perfectly dry to the touch. Very penetrating, it allows for example make-up to be applied immediately afterwards; it exfoliates all dead skin cells, favouring the presence of young cells.

Rosehip oil prevents dermal growth. In fact, it reduces the relief of hypertrophied or retractile scars, even old ones, and homogenises the colour of the scars with that of the skin. It is effective on both recent and old scars.

Its richness in essential fatty acids and antioxidants allows it to nourish, firm and soften skin tissue.

Finally, it is a powerful repairing treatment : to tone up the skin and enhance its complexion, there is nothing like regular application of rose hip vegetable oil! Rosehip vegetable oil is therefore ideal for all cosmetic and dermatological treatments.

Focus on rose hip vegetable oil

Rosehip

Botanical name : Rosa rubiginosa. from organic farming
From the rosehip family, the rosehip grows wild in America, particularly in Chile and the Andes. There, the musk rose proliferates in the form of a small thorny shrub. It produces white or pink musk roses and, above all, fruits that are exceptionally rich in vitamin C. The fruit is harvested in the spring and then cold-pressed to obtain an orange-coloured oil.

The benefits of rose hip oil

+ Gives a healthy glow

+ Improves the appearance of scars, whether recent or old

+ Prevents stretch marks

+ Anti-wrinkle, fights against premature ageing,

+ Reduces age spots (brown spots)

+ Acts on all scars such as those left by acne or chicken pox

+ Acts on burns and sunburns

+ Restores suppleness to devitalized and dehydrated skin

Rosehip : which skin types?

Rosehip vegetable oil is perfectly suited to all skin types. But it offers its full potential to mature, dry, damaged or sensitive skin. Its composition, rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, gives it perfect properties to regenerate, reconstitute the epidermis, soften and give better elasticity to your skin. Its rapid penetration without leaving a greasy film makes it an excellent cosmetic product.

And for the hair ?

Although the properties of rosehip oil are primarily recognised for the skin, they can also be of real interest for your hair. It allows you to obtain soft, supple and shiny hair. For best results, apply it to your entire mane before going to bed so that the oil penetrates the hair fibre completely. The next day, shampoo your hair twice (or even more if you feel that your hair is still greasy), dry and you'll see: your hair will be shiny and healthy! Another option if you have oily hair at the roots and dry hair at the ends: apply rose hip oil as a serum, only on the ends. After a month, you'll be able to say goodbye to your split ends without necessarily having to cut them off.

Rosehip oil is indicated for

More info

Rosehip (Rosa rubiginosa) is often confused with its close cousin, the wild rose, also called dog rose (Rosa canina), which is native to Europe. These two oils are often confused because both plants belong to the same botanical family, Rosaceae. In the end, their composition is very similar and so are their properties. They can therefore easily be substituted for each other. Be careful not to confuse the musk rose with the Damask rose or the absolute rose. The smell is very different.

Examples of uses for rose hip vegetable oil

In case of brown spots or age spots
The cell regeneration capacity of this plant oil allows it to act effectively to reduce the appearance of spots. Combined with specific essential oils such as carrot, celery or lovage, the effect will only be improved. Massage a few drops of Rose Hip oil into the area of the spots in the morning and evening.

Healing oil for stretch marks
Ultra regenerating, Rose Hip Oil works wonders on stretch marks and recent scars by activating micro-vascularisation, which helps to reduce scars and even out their colour. In a bottle, mix 30 ml of rose hip oil with 30 ml of avocado oil and 30 ml of calophylla oil. Add 20 drops of Italian helichrysum essential oil and 10 drops of vitamin E. Apply to recent stretch marks in the morning and evening to fade them. Do not use as such on pregnant women. However, this healing oil can be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women to prevent stretch marks without Italian Helichrysum essential oil.

In case of wrinkles or fine lines
In addition to a rich composition of polyunsaturated fatty acids, rosehip oil reveals a varied composition of phytosterols, squalene, vitamin E, carotenoids but also phenolic compounds. Vitamins E and A provide very interesting anti-oxidant properties to fight against wrinkles. By fighting against free radicals, one of the major causes of tissue ageing, Rose Hip Oil will reinforce its action against wrinkles. Massage a few drops of Rose Hip Oil onto your skin morning and evening.

In case of scars, burns or cuts
Once again, thanks to its exemplary composition and in particular its richness in polyunsaturated fatty acids and its omega 3 and 6, this vegetable oil will be very useful for regenerating the cells and maintaining a good state of suppleness of the skin. Thus, in the event of skin lesions, cuts, burns or scars, rosehip vegetable oil will actively participate in cell reconstruction while soothing the skin. Massage a few drops of Rose Hip Oil into your skin morning and evening.

As a day or night cream
As a day cream: apply it pure or mixed directly on your face. Wait a few minutes before applying make-up. The waiting time is not long because the skin absorbs rose hip oil quickly.
As a night cream : between 1 hour and 30 minutes before going to bed, apply rose hip oil to a clean, cleansed and dried face.

As an anti-ageing treatment
Add 2 drops of cistus ladaniferus essential oil and 1 drop of Italian helichrysum italicum essential oil to 15 ml of rose hip oil (one tablespoon). Apply a few drops of this serum to your clean face. Allow it to penetrate for a few moments. Carefully avoid the eye area.
