The benefits of organic plant oils for radiant skin

Organic plant oils have become an essential part of natural beauty routines, and rightly so! Grown in an environmentally-friendly way, these precious oils offer a multitude of benefits for the skin, from deep hydration to protection against external aggressors. Don't hesitate to immerse yourself in this sensory experience and discover the many benefits that vegetable oils can bring to your natural skincare routine.

The power of natural ingredients

Unlike conventional beauty products, which often contain synthetic and potentially harmful ingredients, organic vegetable oils are purely natural. They are extracted from seeds, fruits or nuts, and their production method guarantees that they contain no pesticides, GMOs or chemicals. This purity makes organic vegetable oils an ideal choice for those looking for gentle, health-friendly skincare solutions.

In-depth hydration

Hydration is essential for healthy, radiant skin. Organic plant oils are rich in essential fatty acids, such as omegas 3, 6 and 9, which help to keep the skin hydrated by forming a protective barrier. By penetrating deep into the epidermis, they nourish and soften the skin, restoring its suppleness and elasticity.

A cocktail of vitamins and antioxidants

Organic vegetable oils are packed with vitamins and antioxidants that are good for the skin. Vitamin E, for example, helps combat the free radicals responsible for premature skin ageing, while vitamin A promotes cell renewal. These nutrients stimulate skin regeneration and help reduce the signs of ageing, such as fine lines and age spots.

Properties for every skin type

Whatever your skin type, there's an organic plant oil to suit your specific needs. Dry skin will appreciate sweet almond oil or avocado oil for their richness in nourishing fatty acids. Oily skin will love jojoba oil, which regulates sebum without clogging pores. Sensitive skin will benefit from the soothing properties of calendula oil or chamomile oil.

Versatile use

Organic plant oils are versatile and can be incorporated into various stages of your beauty routine. Used as a moisturiser, a natural make-up remover, a massage oil or even a hair mask, they offer a multitude of possibilities for caring for your body in a natural and environmentally-friendly way.

Organic vegetable oils are a veritable treasure trove of nature, offering a healthy and effective alternative to conventional beauty products. Their moisturising, nourishing and regenerating properties make them an ideal ally for naturally radiant skin. Don't hesitate to include these botanical gems in your beauty routine to take full advantage of their exceptional benefits.

Macadamier, macadamia ternifoliaOrganic macadamia vegetable oil is recommended for fragile, devitalised, dry or irritated skin, in the treatment of stretch marks and scars as well as for hair and hand care (cracks, chapping). This vegetable oil has exceptional moisturizing properties.

Leaving no greasy trace on the skin, this oil is rather considered as “dry oil”. Due to its excellent penetrating power it is often used as a massage base. Quite similar to sweet almond oil, macadamia oil lends itself particularly well to aromatic blends combined with essential oils.

Macadamia oil is one of the most stable natural emollients because it has a high percentage of monounsaturated fatty acids and low in polyunsaturated fatty acids, which makes it more stable to oxidation.

Rich in fatty acids close to the sebum of the skin, it effectively prevents dehydration and leaves the skin soft and satiny.

This oil has a good amount of palmitoleic acid, a rather special fatty acid : an omega-7, naturally present in membrane lipids, which has the function of protecting lipids from oxidation. Which makes it very nourishing and regenerating. In addition, the softening property of this oil restores suppleness and elasticity to the skin, making it possible to better fight against skin aging.

Soothing and calming, it is mainly recommended for damaged and fragile skin. It can be used in the care of hair, hands and, as macadamia oil is renowned for facilitating local micro-circulation and toning, it will be perfect as a massage oil.

With its filtering and protective action against ultraviolet radiation, this oil provides slight protection against UV radiation. However, it will not replace the action of a sunscreen product.

Organic Macadamia seeds

Botanical name : Macadamia ternifolia, from organic farming
Native to eastern Australia and the tropical forests of Queensland, the macadamia tree is about 20 m tall. The name is a tribute to the Scottish-born Australian botanist, John Macadam, who botanically classified this plant in the 19th century. The flowers are pink or white depending on the species. Flowering occurs in spring in clusters about 30 cm long. Each will develop about twenty nuts. The nuts are covered in a green shell that will eventually crack open to release the brown shell. Macadamia vegetable oil is a transparent oily liquid, sometimes slightly yellow verging on green. Its smell and taste are reminiscent of roasted hazelnuts. Its touch is unctuous even viscous but surprisingly well penetrating.

Examples of uses of macadamia vegetable oil

To hydrate and soothe the skin
The versatility of this vegetable oil allows it to be applied to almost all skin types. It hydrates, it softens. Thanks to its richness in oleic acid, Macadamia will strengthen the hydrolipidic barrier to preserve the hydration of the skin, its elasticity and protect it. It is therefore ideal for dry, damaged, even atopic skin. In massage, it facilitates local microcirculation and tones the lymphatic system, which facilitates good skin regeneration, for problems where the hands are often cold and where the blood circulates poorly. Simply apply a few drops morning and evening to dry, damaged areas.

Moisturizer for summer
Add 4 drops of geranium essential oil and 2 drops of ylang ylang essential oil in 15 ml of macadamia oil (1 tablespoon). Apply this mixture on the skin.

In the prevention of stretch marks
Thanks to its strong penetration capacity, it will quickly restore suppleness and elasticity to the skin. A major asset to fight against the appearance of stretch marks.

For blotchy skin
Cleanse the face with a gentle product and apply helichrysum floral water (without drying). Pour 2 drops of Calophylle oil (50%) and 2 drops of macadamia oil (50%) in the palm of your hand and apply to the face.

To protect the hair
Macadamia vegetable oil is ideal for dry and damaged hair since it deeply hydrates the hair fiber. Likewise, it protects colored hair in summer, a season favorable to external aggressions (sun, sea, wind, sand, chlorine from the swimming pool). Finally, it helps to soften curly hair and regenerate fine hair. You can use it as a hair mask. To do this, leave on for at least an hour and then shampoo. Can also be used as a conditioner.
