Hammam surgras soap is a toilet soap formulated to offer a powerful exfoliating action on the body.

A resolutely spa atmosphere for this exfoliating soap with a coffee & eucalyptus/niaouli combination. Shower like in the hammam!

It is recommended for all skin types. Also ideal for cooks, gardeners or DIY enthusiasts; it will rid the hands of residue, deodorize them and leave them soft and hydrated.

This soap will have 3 main actions :
1 - Exfoliation to gently remove dead skin and boost epidermal regeneration
2 - Activation of circulation to improve tone and firm the skin
3 - Purify, nourish the skin, soften it and repair it

To achieve these objectives, Lise-Anne (the founder of the Savonnerie) is committed to working her products as traditionally as possible. Thus, the ingredients are organic and carefully selected. All the manufacturing steps are done by hand. This soap is a committed soap !

Hammam soap contains 9 key ingredients that provide it with all the benefits your skin needs for an exfoliating routine : sunflower oil, shea butter, coconut oil, cocoa butter, castor oil, ground coffee, rhassoul, essential oils of radiated eucalyptus and Niaouli.

Organic sunflower oil, very similar in composition to olive oil (88% oleic acid), is still rarely used for soap formulation. Coconut oil is much more common. But by ecological choice (impossible to produce coconut oil in France), Totem Savon has decided to limit its use as much as possible. Sunflower oil offers wonderful benefits for your skin. Rich in Omega 6 and vitamin E, it has undeniable restorative properties. It prevents dehydration and has real softening and nourishing benefits for the skin. It is therefore ideal for dry to very dry skin.

The organic shea butter contained in this soap is very rich in unsaponifiables, active ingredients preserved during the saponification reaction (vit A, E, latex, phytosterols, terpene alcohol). These active ingredients give shea butter very nourishing properties for the skin, ensuring its elasticity and regeneration. It is also antioxidant and anti-aging. It is of organic quality and from fair trade.

Coconut oil : Rich in antioxidants, it contains vitamin A and vitamin E. In soap, the fatty acid composition of coconut oil makes it possible to obtain a very foaming and hard soap. It is of organic quality and comes from fair trade.

Cocoa butter : Cocoa butter contains unsaponifiables, preserved in the soap. (vit E, carotenes, squalenes, phytosterols). These active ingredients provide antioxidant, softening and restorative properties. In addition, this butter helps to ensure the hardness of the soap. It is certified organic.

Castor oil : The ricinoleic acid of this oil gives it anti-microbial and therefore purifying properties. It softens the skin. In the soap, combined with coconut oil, castor oil improves lather. She is organic.

Ground coffee : Ground coffee is the exfoliating agent in this soap. It comes from organic farming and fair trade. It is roasted and packaged by ESAT Notre Avenir in Bain de Bretagne (35).

Rhassoul : This Moroccan clay is rich in saponin, a washing agent. It is traditionally used in body and hair care. In the soap, it also brings a soft texture. It has a great absorption capacity and is therefore purifying.

Essential oil of eucalyptus radiata and Niaouli : These oils with similar scents bring the traditional atmosphere of hammams. They are anti-bacterial and therefore bring a purifying action to the soap. They are organic.

Organic Sunflower Oil
The fat used for saponification in this soap is 100% oleic sunflower oil. This oil has a composition quite similar to olive oil with its oleic fatty acid composition, at 88%. It is very emollient. Studies are underway because this oil is little used so far in soap and cosmetics, we have not finished discovering its virtues! Being produced in France, it is very interesting for all soap factories that are geographically distant from olive oil! It comes from the Ursule farm in Vendée, certified organic.

Organic coconut oil
The coconut is the symbol of tropical beaches. Behind the hard shell of the fruit hides, with its pulp and its milk, a real treasure. The coconut milk, obtained by pressing the grated pulp, makes the skin soft and supple. It is also from the pulp that we obtain coconut oil, also called coconut fat. Thanks to its high content of saturated fatty acids, coconut oil is very nourishing for the skin and offers an enchanting smell. Thanks to vitamins E and K and the lauric acid that composes it, coconut oil offers protection against bacteria and fungi. Not only does it moisturize, soothe and relieve irritated and itchy skin, but it is also antibacterial and antifungal.

Organic shea butter and cocoa butter
Shea is a tree that can reach fifteen meters high. It grows in the African savannas. It is from its nuts, containing up to 50% lipids, that shea butter is extracted, so popular today all over the world. Shea butter is an ideal active ingredient for skin care, due to its lipid-replenishing and smoothing action. It provides protection against skin dryness thanks to the presence of vitamin A. Shea also contains vitamin E, antioxidant, with anti-aging properties. The shea butter contained in this soap is of organic quality and comes from fair trade.

As for cocoa butter, it is antioxidant, nourishing, protective, soothing... It is particularly the perfect ally for dry, mature or wrinkled skin, but it is also suitable for normal skin. It is absorbed by the skin, leaving it soft and silky. Anti-oxidant, it fights against the effects of time by restoring elasticity to the skin. The phytosterols it contains soothe the skin and limit irritation. The cocoa butter contained in this soap is certified organic.

Ground Coffee and Rhassoul
Ground coffee brings the exfoliating action to this soap. It helps to eliminate dead skin and find soft skin! Coffee is also known to improve the appearance of the skin by toning and firming it. The ground coffee contained in this soap comes from organic farming and fair trade. It is roasted and packaged by ESAT Notre Avenir in Bain de Bretagne (35).

As for the Rhassoul, it is a volcanic clay. It captures impurities and cleanses the skin with great gentleness. It will purify your skin by absorbing sebum and impurities. It cleans in a physical process by absorbing dirt and grease. Rhassoul is recognized as a gentle cleanser and degreaser. It is therefore particularly suitable for oily skin. In this soap, it also brings a soft texture.

Lather with water and rinse well. External use, avoid contact with eyes. Store away from light and in a dry place.
