Sodium coco-sulphate (a derivative of coconut oil) and Decyl glucoside (corn sugar and coconut oil) offer both excellent foaming and cleansing power, but also good distribution on your skin. Sodium coco sulfate (SCS) is a natural alternative to sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), and it remains less irritating than the latter. It is also the only one of all the solid surfactants tested which makes it possible to formulate a satisfactorily effective solid shower gel. In particular, it tolerates a high proportion of butters or oils in the formulas, which considerably softens the formulas containing it.

It is composed of the same ingredients as the liquid shower gel, but will be up to 2 times more concentrated because unlike a liquid shower gel, it contains very little water. In addition, the use of solid surfactant in its formula makes it possible to thicken and harden the mixture in order to obtain a perfectly solid hygiene product.

Apply to wet skin or using a washcloth moistened with your solid shower gel, soap up then rinse thoroughly. Once you are done using your solid shower gel, set it on a soap dish to dry.

Once it's totally dry, you can leave it there (but make sure it doesn't get wet every time you shower) or store it in a soap box.
