Carefully place the glass bell on the base, then the glass stopper on top of the bell. Then pour 10 to 30 drops of essential oil into the glassware, taking care to tilt the glassware a little so that the essential oil flows along the inside of the glassware (and not into the glass injectors on the bottom of the glassware). Connect the diffuser using the USB power plug or power adapter.

Choose your diffusion mode using the control knob by setting it to the desired diffusion strength: soft to intense diffusion. The diffuser will automatically cycle through the airflow until it switches off after one hour of operation.

In soft diffusion mode : Diffusion for 2 minutes / 1 minute wake-up (position 1)

In intensive diffusion mode : diffusion for 15 minutes / 30 minutes awake (position 2)

The essential oil is transformed into fine particles which are then sprayed against the inner wall of the tank, creating a mist in the spray chamber. The droplets are then dispersed into the misting system and diffused into the air. Refill with essential oil when the diffusion decreases, after unplugging the device.

The light cycle starts and stops at the same time as the diffusion. The light is fixed.

We remind you that a diffuser can work without any problem without essential oils. It is therefore better to use less than more (but enough for the microdiffusion to start). In children's rooms, it is preferable to diffuse when they are not present and 30 minutes before bedtime. Do not diffuse continuously, as this may saturate the air with aromatic molecules.

The Nalia diffuser is a nebulizer, also called a micro-diffuser. This is the most efficient way to diffuse essential oils into the atmosphere. It allows the essential oils to be diffused in their entirety while preserving their benefits and properties, without changing their chemical structure and without heating. The compressed air transforms the oils into aromatic micro-particles which, in the form of a mist, escape through the neck of the glassware, thus perfuming the ambient air. 

Always keep the diffuser clean and dry when not in use. Never leave oil standing inside the diffuser.

We recommend that you clean the unit every time you change the oil or after five uses. Unplug the unit and remove the cap and glass cover. Drain and rinse the glass cover thoroughly to remove any oil residue. Use the alcohol and essential oil diffuser cleaner by pouring in the equivalent of 2 teaspoons and run your diffuser for 3 to 5 minutes. When the time is up, empty the excess cleaner. You can diffuse essential oils again. Let the bell dry completely before the next use. 

If you are diffusing citrus essential oils (e.g. Bergamot, Lemon, Orange, Petit Grain) it is advisable to alternate their diffusion with more fluid essential oils (e.g. Lavandin, Lavender, Eucalyptus or Ravintsara). If you do not use your diffuser for a long period of time, it should be emptied, cleaned (by running it with alcohol or diffuser cleaner) and protected from dust.

A rubber pad at the base of the pump limits the noise emitted by the pump. The noise emitted by the pump of the diffuser has been measured by Penntybio at 42 db (measured with a sound level meter at a distance of 20 cm from the pump at full power), which makes it a rather quiet diffuser. 

To further reduce the noise and enjoy the Nalia electric diffuser in peace, we suggest you try it on different surfaces. Carpet, fabric, wood, tiles can reduce or increase the noise emitted by the pump. To avoid any vibration of the glass stopper placed on the glassware, loosen the glassware a little from the porcelain base by pulling it gently and very slightly upwards. 

Please note that the Nalia diffuser evolved during 2022. The device is no longer started and the light switched on using the touch-sensitive buttons shown in the video. Instead, a mechanical thumbwheel button is now used. Another change is that the light is now fixed and white. The video below is therefore not entirely up to date on how these functions work. However, all the other information shown is identical.

Always keep the diffuser clean and dry when not in use. The amount and intensity of the mist will vary depending on the temperature and air currents in the room. Use only 100% natural essential oils. The use of oils containing chemical ingredients, synthetic aromas or impurities can damage the device. Do not pour too much essential oil into the glass bell, the spray nozzles must never be submerged, otherwise the guarantee will be void. Never leave stagnant oil inside the diffuser. NEVER use aggressive products to clean the unit, as they could react with the essential oil residues and cause the release of harmful vapours or a malfunction of the unit.

In the event of a breakdown during the warranty period (5 years), you must contact us so that we can establish a diagnosis together. A video of the start-up may be requested so that we can establish the malfunction. If a failure is confirmed, your diffuser must be returned to us complete.
