The misting of the O'ZEN diffuser is caused by the vibration of a ceramic pellet at a very high frequency which activates ultrasounds by its movement. The vibrations will then cause the water and essential oil molecules to react, mixing and rising into very fine droplets to create a very elegant mist. This is why the O'ZEN diffuser is ultrasonic by misting. This innovative technology allows the essential oils to be diffused cold. To do this, the oils must be diluted in the water in the tank. But beware, diluting the oils in water inevitably attenuates their virtues. This is why, if you wish to diffuse for therapeutic purposes only, we strongly advise you to use a nebulizer rather than a misting diffuser.

But rest assured, ultrasonic diffusion is an excellent method of atmospheric diffusion. Especially as these models also provide two other functions: ionisation and regulation of the air humidity. This means that, in addition to perfuming your home, you can provide healthy and pleasant air for everyone.

We recommend that you place the device in the room for half an hour before switching it on so that it can reach room temperature.

Step 1 : Lift the glass globe of the diffuser 

Step 2 : Make sure the tank is clean and fill it with a maximum of 100 ml of water at room temperature. The water temperature should be between 5°C and 30°C.

Step 3 : Pour 2 to 3 drops of essential oils into the water (no more).

Step 4 : Put the glass sphere back in place.

Step 5 : With dry hands, plug the transformer connector and the transformer into an electrical outlet.

This model has a clever control system built into the base. Simply press on the glassware to start the different operating modes.

- 1st press : diffusion and colour changing lighting in gradation
- 2nd press : fixes the lighting colour.
- 3rd press : stops lighting.
- 4th press : stops diffusion.

CAUTION : Do not tilt the unit while it is in operation. Do not fill or empty the tank while the unit is running. The diffuser should always be placed on a hard, flat and horizontal surface. Keep it slightly away from walls and heat sources such as radiators, etc. If it is not placed on a horizontal surface, the device may not work properly. Do not use more than 3 drops of essential oils. Despite the safety device that interrupts the operation of the appliance, avoid leaving the appliance switched on when not in use or when the tank is empty. For a complete shutdown, unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. The buttons on the device are not waterproof and must not come into contact with water. Do not immerse the diffuser. The device should be cleaned regularly. Please refer to the cleaning instructions in the manual. Make sure that water does not enter the air vent.

If the water contains too much lime, calcium or magnesium, it can deposit a "white powder" in the device. If this scum is deposited on the membrane, it can prevent the unit from working properly.

The life of the membrane is limited (about 3000 hours). After some time of operation the amount of mist generated will reduce. This is normal wear and tear of the ceramic membrane.

We recommend :
1) Use demineralised water for each use.
2) Clean the tank every 2 days and the membrane once a week.
3) Change the water in the tank regularly, do not leave it for more than 2 days.
4) Clean the unit (see explanation below) and make sure that all parts are completely dry when not in use.

To clean the membrane and tank :
It is important to regularly clean the ceramic membrane and the surface of the appliance with a soft cloth or cotton swab soaked in white vinegar and leave for a few minutes.
- Do not press or scratch the membrane
- Do not use cleaning agents to clean the appliance.
- Do not use a hard tool to scrape the surface.
- Rinse the base tank with clean water.
- Make sure that water does not enter the air vent and that it is not blocked.

After cleaning and drying, store the appliance in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children.

In the event of a breakdown during the warranty period (2 years on the electrical part), you must contact us so that we can establish a diagnosis together.
