The Olaki ultrasonic diffuser is handcrafted. Its outer shell is made of beautifully crafted woven bamboo. Its fashionable cream colour allows it to be placed in any interior style, providing a harmonious and natural touch that is truly charming.

Once in use, Olaki will be an essential element in your decoration. You can let it create a soothing atmosphere and enjoy its automatic colour changes. You can also decide to display only a certain colour from the 8 available colours by fixing it.

Add a few drops of essential oil or perfume extract to the tank, which you have filled with water, and enjoy the atmosphere.

The Olaki diffuser's misting is caused by the vibration of a ceramic pellet at a very high frequency, which triggers ultrasounds by its movement. The vibrations will then cause the water and essential oil molecules to react, mix and rise in very fine droplets, creating a very elegant mist. This is why the Olaki diffuser is ultrasonic by misting. This innovative technology allows cold diffusion of essential oils. To do this, the oils must be diluted in the water in the tank. But beware, diluting the oils in water inevitably attenuates their virtues. This is why, if you wish to diffuse for purely therapeutic purposes, we strongly advise you to use a nebulizer rather than a misting diffuser.

We recommend that you place the device in the room for half an hour before switching it on so that it can reach room temperature.

Step 1 : Remove the cover of the diffuser.

Step 2 : Make sure the tank is clean and fill it with a maximum of 250 ml of water at room temperature. The water temperature should be between 5°C and 30°C.

Step 3 : Pour a few drops of essential oils into the water (not supplied).

Step 4 : Replace the lid and the rattan top.

Step 5 : With dry hands, plug in the transformer connector, press the buttons to turn on the diffuser.

 BUTTON ON/OFF
- Press once to start a continuous diffusion (ON indicator lights up).
- Press a second time to start a continuous diffusion with automatic shut off after one hour (1H indicator lights up).
- Press 3 times to start a continuous diffusion with automatic shut-off after 3 hours (3H indicator lights up).
- Press 4 times to start continuous diffusion with automatic shut-off after 6 hours (6H indicator lights up).
- Press a 5th time to turn off the unit.

LIGHT BUTTON
- Press once, the light automatically changes colour in a gradient.
- Press the button again, the light sets the colour of your choice and scrolls in the following order: Current colour - Red - Yellow - Light green - Dark green - Blue - Violet - Pink - OFF
- Press and hold the button to turn the light off.

BROADCAST DIFFUSION
- Press once to start a low intensity diffusion (15ml/h).
- Press a second time to start a medium intensity diffusion (22ml/h).
- Press a third time to start a high intensity diffusion (30ml/h).

WARNING : Despite the safety device that interrupts the operation of the device, avoid leaving the device on when you are not using it or when the tank is empty. For a complete shutdown, unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.

If the water contains too much lime, calcium or magnesium, it can deposit a "white powder" in the unit. If this scum is deposited on the membrane, it may prevent the unit from working properly.

The life of the membrane is limited (about 3000 hours). After some time of operation the amount of mist generated will reduce. This is normal wear and tear of the ceramic membrane.

We recommend :
1) Use demineralised water for each use.
2) Clean the tank every 2 days and the membrane once a week.
3) Change the water in the tank regularly, do not leave it for more than 2 days.
4) Clean the unit (see explanation below) and make sure that all parts are completely dry when not in use.

To clean the membrane and tank :
It is important to regularly clean the ceramic membrane and the surface of the appliance with a soft cloth or cotton swab soaked in white vinegar and leave for a few minutes.
- Do not press or scratch the membrane or the water level control sensor.
- Do not use cleaning agents to clean the appliance.
- Do not use a hard tool to scrape the surface.
- Rinse the base tank with clean water.
- Make sure that water does not enter the air vent and that the air vent is not blocked.

After cleaning and drying, store the appliance in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children.

In the event of a breakdown during the warranty period (2 years on the electrical part), you must contact us so that we can establish a diagnosis together. A video of the start-up may be requested so that we can establish the malfunction. If a failure is confirmed, your diffuser must be returned to us complete.
