Applying Ladrôme organic coconut oil to the hair It will provide your hair with all the moisture it needs.

It will also prevent breakage by making your hair supple and restoring the protein balance.

Present in many hair masks and treatments, coconut oil has nourishing properties. Used before shampooing or as a leave-in treatment, it penetrates and repairs hair deep down. It is therefore ideal for dry, brittle hair. However, for normal hair, we recommend adding a few drops to your usual shampoo or conditioner and rinsing well. It can be used on all hair types.

Use as a hair treatment : After shampooing, warm up a small amount of coconut oil and apply with your fingertips to your lengths to smooth your hair, nourish it and tame curls.

Use as a hair mask : Apply coconut oil to the ends and lengths of dry hair. Leave on for 30 minutes or overnight for a more intense treatment, then wash your hair with a shampoo.

Anti-lice action : Thanks to its very fine texture, it easily penetrates the respiratory tract of lice to suffocate them. All you have to do is wash your hair with a suitable shampoo and brush it with a comb to get rid of them for good.

Applied to your body, it will not only soothe your skin after heavy exposure to the sun, but can also nourish and soothe dry hands and feet. It helps the skin to combat skin ageing and maintain a healthy hydrolipidic film. It also has an excellent soothing and healing effect on very dry areas that can be painful (cracks, irritation, chapping, etc.). Ideal for chapped lips, for example.

Finally, coconut oil will also be a great help in preventing/mitigating stretch marks, as well as enhancing the beauty and health of your nails. However, be careful when using it on the face, as it is what is known as a comedogenic vegetable oil. This means that it is a cosmetic that tends to encourage the appearance of comedones (blackheads and small imperfections). It is therefore incompatible with oily or acne-prone skin, which already has problems and clogged pores.

Like sweet almond oil, coconut oil is a formidable natural make-up remover that dissolves make-up in seconds. Simply take a small dab of oil and massage over your face (paying particular attention to your eyes) using gentle circular movements. Afterwards, don't forget to use a gentle cleanser. You can finish off this moment of indulgence by spraying the floral water of your choice onto your face before your night treatment, and that's all there is to it.

Coconut oil is liquid at 25°C and above. To use it, it is sometimes necessary to heat it in the microwave, in a bain-marie or simply with a hairdryer! When it's below this temperature, its solidified consistency makes it an excellent, melting, natural lip balm.

To nourish your hair, apply to the entire length and cover with a warm towel. You can leave it on for half an hour, or leave it on overnight for greater effectiveness.

To moisturise your skin, particularly your hands and feet, massage the oil into the skin using circular movements. You can also rub the oil into chapped lips.
