Organic cornflower floral water, as a compress on the eye contour, helps to decongest and soothe this fragile area of the face, especially in the event of a feeling of eye fatigue or irritation of the eyelids. As a skin lotion, it helps to tone dry and devitalized skin. It is a floral water perfect for normal skin.

Cornflower hydrosol is particularly recommended to relieve irritated eyes and eyelids. Spray a compress or a cotton ball with cornflower floral water then apply it directly to the eyes for a few minutes. On irritated skin, spray the face with organic cornflower floral water, massage lightly then pat gently with a towel.

The hydrosol is the water collected after distillation of a plant, it contains in small proportions the same components as the essential oil from which it is extracted, but also other soluble components contained in the plant which cannot be in essential oil. Floral water, as its name suggests, is a "maceration" of flower petals in water, so the term hydrosol is more appropriate, but in general it is more the term "water" than the we use.

Contrary to essential oils, the hydrosol, weakly concentrated in active ingredients, can be used without particular precaution.

There are as many hydrosols as essential oils. The ones we sell on Penntybio cover most common needs; they were chosen for their qualities and their properties.
