The balm is a water-in-oil emulsion with a specific formula enriched with fats (vegetable oils, butters and waxes). This is what gives it its special consistency!

Thanks to these natural ingredients, Grain face balm is rich in fatty acids, giving it antioxidant, moisturising, nourishing, draining and healing properties. While organic hazelnut and organic sunflower oils add their active ingredients to this skincare formula, organic shea butter and organic beeswax guarantee its thick, consistent texture. Organic beeswax gives the formula undeniable soothing, calming, protective, healing, repairing, toning and astringent properties (tightens pores and helps achieve a smoother, more even complexion). Finally, Tea Tree and Rose Geranium essential oils also play their soothing, anti-infectious, repairing and antioxidant roles in this balm. A real cocktail of good organic ingredients for extremely high-quality, effective daily facial care. 

This face balm is suitable for all skin types, whether combination to oily, dry or problem skin.

Organic Hazelnut oil
Very rich in essential fatty acids, hazelnut vegetable oil deeply softens and moisturises the skin. Very penetrating and dry to the touch, this oil nevertheless deeply softens your skin without leaving a greasy film. It prevents dehydration by restoring the skin's hydrolipidic film, leaving skin soft and silky. Hazelnut oil gives this face balm its repairing, regenerating and anti-oxidant properties.

Organic shea butter
The shea tree can grow up to fifteen metres high. It grows in the savannahs of Africa. It is from its nuts, which contain up to 50% lipids, that the shea butter so highly prized around the world is extracted. Shea butter is ideal for skin care, thanks to its lipid-replenishing and smoothing properties.  It provides protection against skin dryness thanks to the presence of vitamin A. Shea also contains vitamin E, an antioxidant with anti-ageing properties. It helps to regenerate the skin against the damaging effects of the sun, calms and soothes tight, overheated skin, promotes healing, moisturises and deeply nourishes the skin, revitalises tissues and restores elasticity to the skin. On the hair, Shea butter is reputed to restore shine and deeply nourish the hair fibre. It also prolongs and protects hair colours.

Organic Tea tree and rose geranium essential oils
Tea tree essential oil has many properties. Healing, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, to combat itching. A broad-spectrum antibacterial, Tea Tree also helps to get rid of acne pimples, boils and skin infections. It is also highly antifungal, helping to get rid of all types of fungal infections. 

Rose geranium essential oil has excellent toning, repairing and astringent properties. Perfect as a natural anti-ageing treatment, it restores radiance to dull skin and puffy faces. It also soothes inflamed skin, fungal infections, redness, acne and inflammation of the mouth. What's more, its floral fragrance is very pleasant, adding a touch of rose to this face balm.

Organic beeswax
This product, secreted by bees to make their hexagonal combs, helps heal skin more quickly thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties. A cut, a callus, a scrape, an open blister - these little everyday injuries can be solved by applying wax heated in a bain-marie. Even hives during eczema, an inflammatory skin disease, can be relieved by this remedy, which can reduce itching. Beeswax owes its healing powers to its composition, which includes cerotic acid and palmitic acid, as well as elements that are still unknown today. Beeswax protects the skin from UV rays and helps it to regenerate. It also absorbs and retains moisture, leaving your skin fresh and supple. The beeswax in this balm is organically produced by Christian in Belle île en mer. He preserves the black bee in Brittany and that alone is magical.

Push the bottom of the tube, apply a small amount directly to the face and massage in using circular movements. Apply to clean skin.
