Some information about the basil
It is an annual herb with oval, shiny, dark and downy leaves that blooms at the end of the summer. Originally from India, the very pronounced basil bears white flowers at the end of the upper axes. The essential oil is obtained from the distillation of flowers and basil leaves.
The delicately spicy aroma of fresh basil will perfectly match with bergamote and geranium. Very antiseptic, it will intervene to treat respiratory problems, buttons, insect bites. He is the best of the nervous tone, he erases fatigue, fights anxiety, depresses it and stimulates memory. By stimulating appetite and digestive system, it will facilitate the digestion and expulsion of intestinal gases.

Basil essential oil includes monoterpenes, monoterpenols, sesquiterpenes, oxides and ketones. Its essential component is a phenolmethyl ether, methyl-chavicol or estragol (about 80 to 90%).
