Some information about Mountain Savory

Mountain Savory is a sub-shrub with a woody stem 15 to 40 cm high and upright branches. It has shiny, leathery leaves and white or pink flowers in clusters. It grows in the limestone soils of southeastern France and southern Europe. Its strong smell is reminiscent of common thyme. The Latin name of the mountain savory Satureja means "satyr herb", referring to creatures known for their sexual ardour. It has always been considered an aphrodisiac and was used in the preparation of love potions, so its cultivation was forbidden in monasteries.

Mountain Savory essential oil has powerful anti-infectious properties, particularly effective in treating respiratory, bronchopulmonary, urinary, prostate, gynecological and intestinal problems. It is also very effective in the fight against fatigue (physical and nervous), very useful in cases of low blood pressure, and stimulates the general tone and immune system. Very practical when travelling, it will help you to avoid "tourista" problems.
