Some information about Lemongrass
Lemongrass, also known as Indian Verbena, is mostly grown in tropical regions. It is a large perennial herb in the Gramineae family. Lemongrass is used in India to treat ringworm and in the West Indies to lower fever. Lemongrass is also widely used in Thai and Malaysian cuisines. Lemongrass essential oil, pale yellow in color and with a sweet lemon scent, is now known in the West for its various anti-inflammatory properties.
Lemongrass essential oil has a good lemony and fresh smell. It can be used for many purposes in aromatherapy. Its calming, sedative and relaxing properties make it an oil that is really well suited to situations of stress, anxiety or sleep disorders. Its sweet and lemony scent makes it a fresh and pleasant air freshener. It blends well with bergamot, cedar, geranium, and rosemary. It is a powerful antiseptic, antibacterial antifungal and an excellent tonic. Lemongrass is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties, especially in case of muscle pain or rheumatism. The citral molecules it contains will act against cellulite by preventing the swelling of fat cells (which block the drainage of water). Its insect repellent property will also repel insects very well. Finally, a few drops mixed with your usual shampoo will revive the shine of your hair. An entire program !!

Usage tips
Essential oils are powerful natural substances and should therefore be used with care. Even if essential oils have been used since Antiquity, their mode of use and the precautions for use are often poorly known. Many books deal with essential oils. As an indication, some examples of use
Diffusing Lemongrass essential oil for 15 to 30 minutes in living rooms will help to get rid of bad odors and clean up the atmosphere. The diffusion of this oil will also be very good for relaxing and promoting serenity.
To promote good digestion, mix 1 drop of Lemongrass essential oil in a teaspoon of honey, vegetable oil or directly on a neutral tablet. 2 to 3 times a day.
Spray Lemongrass oil is an excellent insect repellent. It will effectively repel insects. Make your 100 ml mosquito repellent spray by mixing in a small spray bottle 9 ml of natural dispersant, 20 drops of Lemongrass, 20 drops of fine lavender, 40 drops of eucalyptus citriodora, 10 drops of geranium and you will finish by completing with l witch hazel floral water. Shake well then spray on your clothes or directly on the skin (be careful not the face).
It is advisable to mix a few drops of essential oil with vegetable oil (sweet almond, jojoba, macadamia, rosehip, argan, olive, etc.) to use as massage oil.
To promote the elimination of orange peel, mix 50 to 60 drops of this essential oil in 100 ml of jojoba vegetable oil, then massage the affected areas.
To sanitize oily hair, put 2 drops of Lemongrass essential oil in a neutral shampoo.
To relax and promote serenity : You will dilute in a little vegetable oil 2 drops of Lemongrass + 2 drops of Marjoram or lavender then massage the solar plexus and along the spine.
In case of slow digestion : You will dilute in a little vegetable oil 2 to 3 drops of Lemongrass then gently massage the belly.
