Full plant yield : 0.25% to 0.5%. It therefore takes 100 kg of plant leaf to obtain between 250 and 500 gr of essential tarragon oil.

 

Some information about the tarragon

The tarragon is a semi-persistant perennial herbaceous plant native to central asia, cultivated for its fragrant leaves for condimentary use. It is more difficult to grow in France. It is mainly found in Provence. Arab doctors already used its essential oil in the year 1000. Its smell is anise and fresh.

By the Middle Ages, Avicene already referred to the antispasmodic and digestive properties of essential tarragon oil. Its current fame is due to its effectiveness in hunting gas and intestinal fermentations as well as the pain of the rules. The essential oil of tarragon is very used in aromatherapy for its antispasmodic neuromuscular, antiviral and antiallergic properties of land. Instructions for use

For example, some examples of use

 

Par voie oraleThe essential oil of tarragon can allow relieve a hoquet. In a small bottle, mix 3 ml of essential tarragon oil + 1 ml of essential oil of small grain. Put 2 drops of this mixture on a neutral tablet and swallow one every 15 minutes for 1 hour.

Against the evil of transport dyears a small bottle, mix 1 ml of essential tarragon oil + 2 ml of essential oil peppermint and 2 ml small grain. Put 2 drops of this mixture on 1/2 sugar to suck.

Against aerophagia, bloating or flatulence : dyears a small bottle, mix 1 ml of essential tarragon oil + 2 ml of essential fennel oil and 1 ml of essential oil of tropical basil. Insert 2 drops of this mixture into a coffee spoon of olive oil before a meal.

Application par massage ou compresse It is advisable to mix a few drops of essential oil with a vegetable oil (soft almond, jojoba, macadamia, musk rose, argan, olive, etc) to use it as massage oil.You will use the essential tarragon oil in localized massage against the ear budding. Apply 1 drop small grain + 1 drop of tarragon + 1 drop helicopter and apply around the ear 3 times/day for 1 week.

Against spasmodic coughs :dyears a small bottle, mix 2 ml of essential tarragon oil + 3 ml of essential oilcyprès and 1 ml of essential oil small grain. Massage 6 drops of this mixture 3 times a day on the chest and back top for 5 days.

Against bloating, apply a few drops of this oil diluted to a vegetable oil directly on the stomach.

Against muscle pain, tendinitis and cramps :mix in a bottle of 50 ml of arnica macerate, 1 ml of essential tarragon oil + 2 ml of essential oil gaulthérie + 15 drops of essential oils peppermint and finally 1 ml of essential oil of lavandin, then gently massage the painful area 3-4 times/day for 2 days.
