Some information about the Ravintsara
The ravintsara a tree from the tropical and humid forests of Madagascar. It can reach 6 to 8 metres high. It is therefore cultivated by reducing its branches to facilitate the collection of its flowers, which gives it its original form. It was long confused with Ravensara Aromatica, with less antiviral and more sedative and calming properties.
The essential oil is colourless and has a characteristic smell due to its smoother action than the eucalyptus.

The essential oil of ravintsara is the star of anti-viral essential oils. The name of this highly aromatic tree from Madagascar means "good leaf" in Malagasy. The majority components are cineole and terpenes.
