Native species of the New South Wales coast in Australia, eucalyptus appear surrounded by a blue halo from the evapotranspiration of the leaves during the summer heats. The essential oil is colourless and its fresh and slightly mintled aroma. Very volatile, very penetrating and almost stubborn, it has this characteristic smell due to its majority component (70% eucalypto.).

With a less powerful aroma and therefore more pleasant to breathe, eucalyptus radiata will replace eucalyptus globulus for children and allergic subjects, especially during the first winter attacks. Antiviral, decongestant and expectorant, radiate eucalyptus is the ideal essential oil of respiratory conditions, whether viral (rhume, flu) or bacterial (bronchitis, sinusitis, otitis.).
