Organic Scots pine essential oil

Organic Scots Pine Essential OilScots Pine is a coniferous tree that originated in Asia, loves the mountains and has developed throughout Western Europe. Its resin and essential oil have long been known and used in folk medicine. The needles of this conifer are distilled. The essential oil of Scots pine is colourless, strongly aromatic and characteristic of softwoods.

With its fresh forest and pine sap scent, it blends well with cedar, eucalyptus and rosemary. Scots pine essential oil is a powerful pulmonary antiseptic in case of a cold.

Invigorating and tonic, this oil invigorates and stimulates the mind. It relieves stress and facilitates concentration. To tone your skin and respiratory system, relax your tired or aching muscles, put a few drops in your bath !

Attention !

The essential oil of Scots pine is contraindicated orally in people suffering from functional renal insufficiency or with a history of kidney disease, but also in epileptic subjects. May irritate sensitive skin. Not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

  

Usage tips

Essential oils are powerful natural substances and should therefore be used with care. Even if essential oils have been used since Antiquity, their mode of use and the precautions for use are often poorly understood. Many books deal with essential oils. It is therefore advisable to refer to it to find out about the traditional modes of use.

As an indication, some examples of use

 

Use by broadcast The essential oil of Scots pine used in diffusion will stimulate you in the morning. Diffuse for 30 minutes upon waking. It will also facilitate the release of the nose. Diffusion 15 minutes in equal proportion with the radiated eucalyptus, in the bathroom and the kitchen at sunrise. Finally, it is very good for purifying the surrounding air. Diffuse 30 minutes to 1 hour in living rooms.

Utilisation en inhalation

In order to facilitate the clearing of the respiratory tract, put 4 to 5 drops of essential oil of Scots pine on a tissue and breathe, or 2 to 3 drops in a bowl of hot water in inhalation, 2 to 3 times a day for 1 week.

"Whiplash" recipe : Solubilize 4 drops of pine, 6 of radiated eucalyptus and 2 of fine lavender and thyme thymol in 100 ml of vegetable oil. A teaspoon in a bowl of boiling water inhaled, 2 to 3 times for 1 week.

 

Application by massage or compressIt is advisable to mix a few drops of essential oil with vegetable oil (sweet almond, jojoba, macadamia, rosehip, argan, olive, etc.) to use as massage oil.

To relieve joints or sensitive/stiffened muscles to regain tone and vigor in the event of a cold snap, you can dilute 20 to 30 drops of Scots pine essential oil in 100 ml of vegetable oil, then massage locally.

  

Use in the bath Since essential oils are not soluble in water, they must be mixed with an emulsifier before pouring them into the bath. For example, they can be mixed with a liquid soap, a neutral shampoo (1 tablespoon) or our dispersant Solubol®. As a general rule, it is advisable not to exceed 10 drops per bath and not to stay longer than 20 minutes. Dispersing 10 drops of Scots pine essential oil in a warm bath will stimulate and relieve you of that stuffy nose feeling.

 

Oral use

To help maintain tone and vitality, you can dilute 1 drop of Scots pine essential oil in a teaspoon of honey or vegetable oil, 1 to 2 times a day (maximum daily dose: 2 drops, i.e. 0. 08ml).
