Some information on the Atlas Cedar

Huile essentielle de cèdre de l'Atlas Bio

It is a much more majestic and imposing looking tree than the other species, being able to easily exceed 40 m in height. The Atlas cedar lives in mountainous areas and cedar forests develop between an altitude of 1500 to 2500 m, with a preference for the much more watered north and west slopes. Atlas cedar is a powerful antiseptic.

Its "masculine" smell makes it a favorite product for men's care: purifying, healing, astringent, it can be added to a cream for oily skin, to a shampoo, etc. Its lipolytic property promotes the decomposition of fatty substances and will therefore be effective against cellulite and hair problems due to greasy, damaged hair... This essential oil also promotes good circulation. It is also decongestant and antiseptic of the respiratory tract.

An essential oil is made up of chemically defined molecules (about 10,000 listed) that have been secreted by special plant cells. It can consist of from one to several hundred molecules, which helps explain why some essential oils have many properties but different therapeutic effectiveness. To guarantee the properties necessary for effective aromatherapy, it is important that an essential oil is 100% pure and natural (not cut, not deterpenated, not mixed with alcohol or vegetable oils) and preferably organic. This is the case for the essential oils we sell. They are sold in tinted bottles with a dropper cap.
