The Elixia diffuser is a micro-diffusion model, also known as cold nebulisation. This process, well known to diffusion enthusiasts, allows a maximum release of aromatic molecules without heating them and therefore without altering the quality of the essential oils.

It is perfectly suited to all types of use: at home, in the office, in a shop, institute, gym, waiting room or conference room, etc.

Thanks to its high power, this diffuser can diffuse your rooms up to 100 m² in 20 to 30 minutes. The variator allows you to adjust the diffusion rate as you wish, according to the volume of your rooms.

Its hand-blown glassware is made of Pyrex (high quality, shock-resistant glass).

The injectors are carefully calibrated to limit clogging and untimely blocking of the glass. The anti-splash glass cap protects against dust and reduces noise and vibration.

The real porcelain base has a very elegant and sleek design. It is equipped with a dimmer switch, which allows you to adjust the power of diffusion according to the size of your rooms. The pump is equipped with an anti-vibration pad that reduces noise and protects your furniture.

Step 1 : Insert the foot of the glassware into the rubber ring in the centre of the pump. To do this, ensure that the glassware is securely fastened by gently pressing it vertically without twisting it.

Step 2 : Plug in the device using the transformer cord

Step 3 : Turn the dimmer switch to the right to turn on your diffuser. You can thus modulate the diffusion power (minimum speed for small rooms, maximum speed for large rooms)

Step 4 : Pour a few drops of pure essential oils into your glassware (20 to 30 drops will suffice), taking care never to completely immerse the injectors, which would irreparably harm its proper functioning (the guarantee is valid for the pump's manufacturing defect but does not cover deterioration resulting from improper use of the oils)

Step 5 : Place the anti-splash cap on your glassware

Step 6 : To turn off your diffuser, turn the dimmer switch to the left until it locks into place (click).

Use only pure essential oils, never diluted with water or vegetable oil, as this will definitely block the diffusion system.

Clean your diffuser once or twice a month. To do this, start by emptying the essential oils from your diffuser. There are several cleaning methods available to you :

1 - Pour a few drops of rubbing alcohol into the glassware to clean the injectors. Let it diffuse for a few moments. After complete evaporation, pour new drops of essential oils.

2 - Remove the glassware from its base. Pour a drop of dishwashing detergent into the glassware and fill 3/4 of it with hot water. Gently mix everything together. Leave for a few minutes and then rinse thoroughly with water. Wipe off with a soft cloth and let it run dry to evaporate any remaining drops. Repeat the cleaning if necessary.

3 - Remove the glassware from its base. Soak the glassware alone in cold tempered water and bring to the boil for a few minutes. Allow to cool and then empty (beware of the risk of burns). Wipe off with a soft cloth and run under vacuum to evaporate any remaining drops. Repeat cleaning 1/ if necessary.

4 - Use our specific cleaner for diffuser glassware.

A rubber pad at the base of the pump limits the noise emitted by the pump. The noise emitted by the pump of the diffuser has been measured by Penntybio at 32.5 db (measured with a sound level meter at a distance of 20 cm from the pump at full power), which makes it a really quiet diffuser. 

To reduce the noise even further and enjoy the Elixia electric diffuser in complete peace of mind, we suggest you try it on different surfaces. Carpet, fabric, wood, tiles can reduce or increase the noise emitted by the pump. To avoid any vibration of the glass stopper placed on the glassware, loosen the glassware a little from the porcelain base by pulling it gently and very slightly upwards. 

If you diffuse citrus essential oils (e.g. Bergamot, Lemon, Orange, Petit Grain), it is advisable to alternate their diffusion with more fluid essential oils (e.g. Lavandin, Lavender, Eucalyptus or Ravintsara). If you are not using your diffuser for a long period of time, get into the habit of emptying it, cleaning it (by running it with alcohol or diffuser cleaner) and keeping it dust-free.

- Elixia glassware (delivered without its silencer)

- Do not insert any object inside the glassware such as a brush or iron rod for example. This would damage the injectors (vertical glass nozzles inside the glassware).

- Pyrex glassware, although strong, is still thin and delicate and should be handled with care,

- If the diffusion does not suit you, please stop the device and refer to the instructions for use and functions of the essential oils used.

- The diffuser is reserved for the strict and unique use of pure essential oils.

- Never immerse the essential oil injectors, as this would cause the electric pump to malfunction immediately. Pour the drops of essential oils into the glassware once your diffuser is running. Tilt the glassware when filling so that the essential oils flow along the glass without reaching the injectors.

- It is recommended that you diffuse your oils until they have completely evaporated so as not to leave any essential oil stagnating at the bottom of the device and drying in the injectors. In this case, a thorough cleaning of the glassware should be considered in order to remove the particles that hinder the diffusion.

- It is strongly recommended to insert the glassware in its base by gently pressing it vertically without turning it.

In the event of a breakdown during the warranty period (2 years on the electrical part), you must contact us so that we can establish a diagnosis together. If a breakdown is confirmed, your diffuser must be returned to us complete. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, dropping, disassembly or repair by unauthorised persons.
