The mites live only for 2 or 3 months but in good conditions of humidity (between 65 and 80%) and temperature (between 20 and 30 degrees), they can reproduce very quickly. To keep its efficiency, this filter must be cleaned or changed regularly according to the manufacturer's instructions.
