To be more respectful of your skin, you will find no aluminum salts (aluminum salts block the mechanism of perspiration necessary for the proper functioning of the human body) and no alcohol. It has been tested under dermatological control and is very suitable for sensitive skin.

And in order to limit plastic waste pollution, this deodorant refill is packaged in a 100% R-PET bottle, reducing carbon emissions by 50% compared to virgin PET, while reducing dependence on fossil fuels.

Triethyl citrate : This derivative of citric acid is commonly used in cosmetics for its deodorant properties. True alternative to the aluminium salts of the conventional deodorants, it takes part to offer an effectiveness during 24H to this deodorant roll-on. The triethyl citrate does not block the mechanism of perspiration but prevents the development of bad odors due to perspiration. 

The zinc ricinoleate : True anti-bacterial, the zinc ricinoleate limits the bad body odors. In synergy with triethyl citrate, it offers a proven effectiveness during 24 hours to the roll-on deodorants I am organic. A natural compound, it does not alter the skin flora and thus protects the skin of the armpits which is subjected daily to the application of deodorants. 

Oat powder : Oats are a very common cereal that offers multiple properties to cosmetics. It is used in roll-on deodorants in the form of powder. This white and ultra fine powder plays the role of moisture absorber under the armpits. It also gives a lot of softness to the roll-on deodorant for soft underarms and brings whiteness to the formula. Its soothing properties make it an ingredient of choice for skin-friendly deodorants. 

Organic coconut oil : The coconut is the symbol of tropical beaches. Behind the hard shell of the fruit is hidden, with its pulp and milk, a real treasure. The coconut milk, obtained by pressing the grated pulp, makes the skin soft and supple. Coconut oil, also known as coconut fat, is obtained from the pulp. Thanks to its high content of saturated fatty acids, coconut oil is very nourishing for the skin and hair and has an enchanting smell. It is an active ingredient very present in this deodorant. It leaves the skin soft, moisturized and nourished.

Organic Aloe vera : It is one of the most known medicinal plants since the Antiquity. Frequently used in dermatology and cosmetology, it is an essential ally of the skin. Moisturizing, soothing, softening, it beautifies all types of skin, especially dry or sensitive skin. A real treasure for the skin, Aloe Vera gel contains more than 200 active components essential for the skin and naturally present in the human body, such as amino acids, minerals (Calcium, Magnesium, Manganese, etc.), vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B6, B12 and folic acid)... which intervene in the regeneration of the cutaneous tissue. Aloe Vera is also composed in large part of water and sugars, hence its moisturizing action. The sugars are able to retain a large amount of water, which makes the skin smoother and more elastic. In this deodorant, it brings moisture to your skin.

Organic cotton : The cotton plant is a shrub native to India. The fruits of the cotton plant are called capsules. These capsules, while opening, reveal long and silky filaments forming a ball which contains the seeds which are used to manufacture the vegetable oil of cotton. These seeds contain nearly 40% of oil. The vegetable oil of cotton is obtained by first cold pressure of cotton seeds. Rich in linoleic acid, cotton oil is appreciated in cosmetics for its softening and emollient qualities. Its content in essential fatty acids makes it an excellent revitalizing ingredient for the skin. It contributes to the very pleasant fragrance of this deodorant.

Organic Macadamia Oil : Macadamia oil, obtained by pressing nuts, has brought all its benefits with it from Australia. Summer and winter, it protects you from external aggressions and soothes your skin gently. It is known for its moisturizing virtues, and is often compared to sweet almond for its versatility. It facilitates skin microcirculation which makes it one of the best oils for dry skin. Like cotton, it contributes to the very pleasant scent of this deodorant.

The Je suis Bio brand is committed to using more and more rPET for its products. Its use reduces carbon emissions by 50% compared to virgin PET, while reducing dependence on fossil fuels. In addition, the increased production and use of rPET helps boost the circular economy, keeping plastic in its economy and out of nature.

rPET is recycled PET, which is PET made from waste. In 2014, more than 57% of PET bottles had already been recycled in some way, and more than 20% of them were used to make new bottles. The color of rPET bottles differs slightly from that of conventional PET bottles.

The recycling process starts at the sorting centers, which receive the used bottles from the various collection systems and compact them into bales of bottles, which are then sent to the recycling centers. These bales are then sorted by material in a sorting center or in a preliminary phase of the recycling process. Many companies have developed mechanical and chemical processes to recycle high quality post-consumer materials into pellets or grains of rPET. 

Can Je Suis Bio deodorants be used by pregnant women ? 
There are no contraindications to use the deodorants of this brand for pregnant women.

How do I refill my deodorant ?
When your roll-on is empty, unclip the ball (don't try to unscrew it) and then carefully wash all the parts of the bottle, including the ball, in hot soapy water. You can also put it in the dishwasher! Let it dry and then refill with your eco-refill. You will find all this information on the label of the roll-on, gently peel it off where the little arrow is to access the cleaning tips.

How long does this deodorant last ?  
Roll-on deodorants have an expiration date, which can be found on the pack.

Has this deodorant been tested on animals ?  
No, none of the products have been tested on animals, according to the European regulation in force (regulation (EC) n°1223/2009, completed by the regulation (EU) n°655/2013).

Are the ingredients from fair trade ?  
JE SUIS BIO's approach is based on responsible trade, including in the choice of suppliers. As far as possible, we prefer plants from fair trade. The Aloe Vera, for example, is organic and FairTrade certified. Similarly, the surfactant in the formulas is made in France.

Is the bottle of this deodorant recyclable ?
The glass bottle of the roll-on deodorant can be recycled in the recycling garbage can. The plastic ball is to be thrown away. But don't forget, this roll-on can be refilled with 100 ml eco-refills!

Do not leave within the reach of children 

The Bleuvert company, French specialist of natural and organic cosmetics, launches this new brand of organic certified creams and shower gels, "made in France", respectful of the skin and the environment.

Bleuvert, which has been distributing natural and organic cosmetics since 1998, including Logona, Khadi, Couleurs Chocolat and Sante Naturkosmetik, is launching its own brand "Je suis Bio" in 2020, from its integrated laboratory.

The little extra : the olfactory signatures of this range, 100% of natural origin, have been developed with French perfumers, especially from Grasse.

All these products are certified "Cosmos Organic" by Ecocert: they contain 97.9% of ingredients of natural origin. In their formulation, there are no sulfates (which are harmful to the skin), nor petrochemical ingredients (no synthetic perfumes and dyes, nor mineral oils). The formulas are thus biodegradable and decompose from 97% to 100% between 10 and 28 days depending on the perfume.

In a logic of recovery of plastic waste, and with the will to not create new ones, the bottles are either made of recyclable glass, or 100% made from recycled plastic, and are recyclable (rPET). Remember to put them in the recycling garbage can after use.

All these products are made in France, to promote employment in our territory and limit CO2 emissions.
