The oleo-calcareous liniment is a liquid mixture of 50% vegetable oil (in this one organic sunflower) and 50% lime water (a mixture of limestone powder and water) which allows to restore the natural pH of the skin.

By a process of saponification (chemical reaction which allows the manufacture of soap), we obtain a liquid with a creamy substance, ivory in color, similar to a cleansing milk. The oleo-calcareous liniment is therefore a cleanser, which acts like a mild soap by leaving a light protective film, called surgras.

Simple and natural, the liniment quickly became the flagship product for mothers. Oil-limestone liniment has also entered many maternity wards, PMIs, nurseries and many childminders.

Liniment has long been used to treat burns, and its extra-gentle, creamy formula is ideal for cleansing even the most sensitive babies. Liniment can be used all over baby's skin as a cleansing product. It cleans baby's bottom and protects against diaper rash. It is also very effective against cradle cap. But liniment isn't just for baby's bottom and cleansing. This product can also be used without restriction on adults! Because it's both oily and gentle, it makes an excellent make-up remover, can be used as a soothing treatment for eczema, moisturises the skin very well and can relieve sunburn.

Shake well before use. Apply with a cotton pad and clean baby's bottom, which will be protected by the protective film left by the liniment. 

By restoring the normal pH of the skin, the liniment heals and prevents skin dryness.

Cleansing product :  Beyond the toilet seat of babies and young children, the liniment will be ideal for washing the face of children. It is an excellent make-up remover and cleanser for the face, even on the eyelids (watch out for the eyes though!).

Care product : It can be applied to the nipples to prevent or calm cracks and dryness during breastfeeding, as well as to calm and soften the episiotomy scar. By applying it to the scalp, the liniment treats cradle cap. Finally, it is useful in the treatment of sunburn to soothe pain due to burns thanks to its soothing and moisturizing action.

Moisturizing product : You can use the liniment in the shower as a body milk, or when getting out of the water as a moisturizer. By depositing a light lipid film on the skin, it is very effective in calming redness and skin irritation. It can also be used during pregnancy to prevent stretch marks. Finally, using liniment as a moisturizing face cream in the morning will also work great.

Massage product : The formula, enriched with vegetable oil, is perfectly suited to the massage of babies. The product warms in the palm of your hands and offers a feeling as pleasant to the baby as to yourself. The product is ideal for moisturizing the skin of the face and body. It goes without saying that it is strongly recommended to use a 100% natural organic liniment (like that of Anaé), without any chemical substance, especially for young children

Care product : The liniment is also effective on leather for all stains. You can also clean and protect the leather of your shoes: the oil penetrates the entire surface of the leather, cleaning and nourishing it. Ditto, to regularly maintain your leather sofa, by simple application with a soft cloth. It leaves after its passage a film of oily emulsion which nourishes the leather.
